00:00The murder of Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle has rocked Hollywood and beyond. For movie fans,
00:06the actor and director has been a household name for decades. But who was his wife Michelle?
00:12Well, the two met while Reiner was filming when Harry met Sally. The director even said that it
00:16was meeting Michelle that completely changed his opinions on love and convinced him to alter the
00:22original ending of the film, to have Harry and Sally end up together. Now, as for Michelle's
00:27professional life, she worked as a photographer before meeting Reiner and later did some acting
00:32and producing work. But before she met the man that she would be married to for 36 years,
00:38Michelle snapped a photo you will no doubt recognize, the picture that became the cover
00:43of President Trump's 1987 book, The Art of the Deal. But that connection to the president did not
00:49spare her or her husband from being blasted by the commander-in-chief after news of their tragic
00:56deaths became public. President Trump posted that Reiner died, quote, reportedly due to the anger he
01:03caused others through his massive, unyielding and incurable affliction with a mind-crippling disease
01:09known as Trump derangement syndrome. He then added, quote, he was known to have driven people crazy
01:16by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights
01:22as the Trump administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness. Those comments did
01:28not go over well with people across the political spectrum. Remember, the couple was stabbed to death
01:35this weekend and cops are eyeing their own son as the killer. The Post's conservative commentator,
01:41John Podhoritz, said, quote, Trump disgraces America with his tweet. And Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor
01:49Green, who, of course, has been feuding with the president as of late, wrote, this is a family
01:53tragedy, not about politics or political enemies. And many, every day, self-identifying conservatives
02:00on X echoed her sentiments. Now, we're learning more about the father and son accused of slaughtering
02:0715 people and injuring dozens more at a Hanukkah celebration at the famous Bondi Beach in Sydney,
02:13Australia. Sajid Akram and his son Naveed spent about a month in the Philippines before the heinous
02:19attack. Now, the Philippines is considered a hotspot for ISIS training. The Australian Broadcasting
02:24Corporation is also reporting that 24-year-old Naveed was closely connected to Islamic extremist
02:30Isaac L. Matari. Matari was convicted in 2019 for plotting an ISIS-style attack in Australia,
02:37and Akram was in contact with him as he looked for supporters for his plot. That put Akram on the
02:43radar of Australia's security intelligence organization. But after six months, he was
02:48deemed not to pose an immediate threat. Meanwhile, Australia's government vowed to further strengthen its
02:54already strict gun laws. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said that his cabinet agreed to work on
02:59a national firearms register, which could focus on limiting the number of firearms a person owns
03:04and how long their permits are valid for. Reports suggest that the pair of shooters owned at least
03:10six weapons, all legal under the current laws. 50-year-old Sajid was killed when cops finally
03:17returned fire Sunday. Naveed was injured and remains in custody. Now, authorities are facing
03:21a ton of criticism over how long it took police to neutralize the threat. A group of far-left
03:28extremists allegedly planned what could have been a deadly New Year's Eve terror attack aimed at ICE
03:34agents. Prosecutors, four members of a group named the Order of the Black Lotus, a splinter group of the
03:40anti-capitalist Turtle Island Liberation Front, plan to blow up pipe bombs at two U.S. companies in
03:46Los Angeles. Never heard of the Turtle Island Liberation Front? Well, they're a little-known
03:50pro-Palestine, anti-law enforcement, anti-government group that post disturbing slogans online like
03:56death to America. Now, they've quietly been raising funds for a, quote, revolutionary change in
04:01government. The group also intended to target federal immigration agents with similar bombs sometime in
04:08January or February. According to the criminal complaint, they hoped that the blasts would,
04:12quote, take some of them out and scare the rest of them. The suspects, Audrey Carroll, Zachary Page,
04:18Dante Garfield, and Tina Lye, were busted when they tried to detonate IEDs in the Mojave Desert.
04:24They were each charged with conspiracy and possession of an unregistered destructive device.
