00:00Hey guys, we are here with V, Lala. I am Vinita. We are so excited to be talking with her,

00:08especially right before Mother's Day. We're here in this beautiful shop down in Bowery,

00:14put up by Glenn Leavitt. So just tell me a little bit about your collaboration with that.

00:18So I'm super excited. This particular pop-up shop will be open until Mother's Day. So I

00:22want to encourage all my moms to come. And even if you're not a mom, just come hang out. I've

00:27partnered with the Glenn Leavitt and super excited about the partnership and excited to show women

00:31that, you know, we can drink strong drinks, but you know, they still taste good and feel super

00:38independent and super powerful, which is some of the feelings I get from the Glenn Leavitt. So I

00:41just wanted to share it with all the moms out there and all my independent, strong women out there.

00:46It wasn't until this that I really loved a whiskey. I just always looked at a whiskey as being more

00:52like of a man's drink. But when I tried it with the soda water, I was like, okay,

00:56this is really cool and smooth. And now I'm becoming good at it. Maybe a little too good

01:01at it. So I'm into this. I'm into this. The Glenn Leavitt with soda water. That's the la la thing.

01:07Memorial Day weekend. We're going into some bikini body season. How are you preparing?

01:12Obviously you just slayed the Met Gala, so you're prepared. But what are you doing to get that summer

01:16bod? I need to get my ass back in the gym. I got to get back in the gym. And you're reminding me that

01:21time is ticking. Well, so you box. Do you box with anyone in particular? Or do you,

01:26you know, Pilates, SoulCycle, things like that? Well, my trainer for a long time was this guy

01:31named Hollywood Hino. But now Kevin Hart has taken him. Drake is on tour with him. I'm like,

01:35they just stole my trainer. But it's fine. I'm still boxing here in New York. I usually go to

01:40Trinity Boxing Gym, which is a gym that I love. But yeah, my trainer has left me for Kevin Hart and Drake.

01:45So I'm just trying to find somebody else now. I think that you should knock them out.

01:51But I'm so happy for him. Who doesn't want to travel the world and do so many amazing things? So

01:56I'm happy that Hino is killing it. So true. Now, we love power at Hollywood Life. We left off with a

02:04literal bank. How are the power and dynamics going to change? I think power is always a rollercoaster ride

02:11every season. And I think that once you feel like you figured it out, like, oh, I know exactly

02:15what's going to happen. Something so unexpected happens. And this season will be no different.

02:20I'm super excited for my character. I feel like she finally, like, gets her voice and,

02:24you know, isn't just playing behind the scenes to Tasha. She's really stepping up. So that's going

02:28to be an interesting journey. And her relationship with Tommy is so dysfunctional and toxic, but loving

02:34and incredible in so many ways. So we get to explore that even more. How are we going to see it change

02:39or evolve in season six? I think Lakeisha starts becoming more ride or die, but not understanding

02:44that more ride or die comes with a lot of consequences. You can't be ride or die for

02:48your drug dealer boyfriend and expect to not get into any trouble. So that's a new space

02:54for her. And it'll be interesting to see, you know, what happens in that journey with

02:58Miss Lakeisha Grant.

03:00And speaking of your acting career, you just signed on to another show with 50 Cent.

03:04Can you tease anything coming up?

03:06So I read a book called Intercepted, which I loved, and 50 and I optioned the book deal

03:10to star. So we're just starting on the project, getting writers together, and we're super excited.

03:14It's kind of the dark world of sports and women and things that happen. And it's going to be

03:20an incredibly gritty, still funny, just real show. And I'm super excited about it.

03:26Love that. You two so much. Lala Anthony Collection. What? Anything coming up with that?

03:32So yeah, we're in Macy's, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor, Ashley Stewart. We just want to continue

03:36to build the line. And thank you to all the women that support the line. And it was really

03:40big for us to go into Ashley Stewart and service, you know, curvy women. I felt like they were

03:44just being forgotten about. So we did incredible numbers with Ashley Stewart, and we want to

03:49continue to build that relationship and that market as well. So a lot of new things coming.

03:55I love that so much. Well, we're going to go pour some Glenlivet, and cheers to all of

04:19So it was an amazing evening. I was so happy to go. I was happy to be wearing. Pierre Moss

04:24and Kirby, the designer, designed a money dress for me, which I thought was incredible

04:29and on theme for the night. And we just had a really fun night. It was really great being

04:34there. And thank you to Anna and Vogue for having me.
