A mobile phone prank involving a toaster quickly escalates after a fake explosion convinces a mother her home is on fire.
Millie O’Hara, from Brighton, UK, filmed the moment she pretended something was stuck inside a toaster and claimed it was making a strange noise.
She then sent a video of her inserting a spoon, triggering a staged bang and flash using a popper to make it appear as if the toaster had exploded.
The prank continued through text messages and voice notes, including fake fire alarm sounds, sirens, and images of flames, causing growing concern before the truth was revealed leaving the prank’s target visibly angry.
