00:00I think there's not broad support for this in the state and there's not
00:07really viewed a need for it.
00:13Our medical community is certainly in an uproar over it.
00:18They have come in opposition to these bills and you know,
00:24the people, Nebraska, people like to talk, Nebraska is a red state.
00:27We have a majority of Republicans in this state.
00:32So when people are coming in opposition to things that represent a large community,
00:36like the medical community,
00:38these are Republicans that are coming and opposing this.
00:44This isn't a partisan issue.
00:47This is an assault on a population and a medical profession.
00:53I, you know, it's, it doesn't make any sense.
00:56And what about members of the trans community and also the parents?
01:02Like,
01:02are you hearing from families that they will leave the state in order to protect their
01:07children?
01:08Yes.
01:09Yes.
01:09And of course they will.
01:11What parent would,
01:12would not leave the state?
01:16If my child needs medical care and they cannot receive it,
01:19I am not going to stay here.
01:21That's,
01:22I mean,
01:22that's a no brainer for parents.
01:24And so you've spoken to parents and they have said that they will leave the state as
01:31like,
01:32as soon as they can,
01:33I guess.
01:34Some are making plans already.
01:35I'm not going to be.
01:36I'm not going to be.
01:36I'm not going to be.
01:36See you.
01:36I'm not going to be.
