00:13Kumpiyansa si House Committee on Appropriations Chair Michaela Swan Singh

00:17na hindi magkakaroon ng re-enacted budget ang bansa sa 2026.

00:23Ito ay kahit pa nagkakaabiriya sa deliberasyon ng Bicameral Conference Committee o BICAM

00:28hinggil sa panukalang pambansang pondo para sa susunod na taon.

00:34Sabi ni Swan Singh, magkatuwang ang Kamara at Senado sa pag-aayos ng mga gusot sa budget bill

00:39at naniniwala siyang matatapos naman nila ito sa tamang oras.

00:44I'm still very confident. I always say that as much as possible,

00:50we want to make sure we don't have a re-enacted budget.

00:53We're solutions-oriented. We want to find solutions to whatever areas of concerns or disagreements there are.

01:01So if we're able to resume the Bicam proceedings as soon as possible, that would be best.

01:09Kasama sana sa House Contingent para sa Bicam si Surigao del Sur 1st District Representative Romeo Momo Senor.

01:16Pero nagbitiw siya nitong weekend sa Bicam sa ngalan ng Delicadeza.

01:22Kamakailan lang, may nag-hain kasi ng reklamong plunder at graft laban sa kanya sa ombudsman,

01:28bagamat una na niyang itinanggi ang mga paratang.

02:22Magandang may pondo at malaki yung pondo,

02:25pero they also have to make sure na yung implementation is properly done.

02:29Kasi kung wala rin naman talagang absorptive capacity para ma-implement siya properly,

02:34ay sayang yung pondo.
