00:00Gentlemen, we have a huge NFC game to get to between the Los Angeles Rams.
00:05They're at home hosting the Detroit Lions.
00:07They're five and a half point favorites.
00:09The Rams are at home.
00:10We have a huge 54 and a half total.
00:13The Rams right now are the number one seed in the NFC.
00:17Right now, the Lions are on the outside looking in.
00:21They needed that win last Thursday night against the Cowboys.
00:24And they need to keep winning in order to push towards the playoffs.
00:27Joe, the Rams right now look to be the best team kind of really for the entire season
00:33across not just the NFC, but the NFL overall.
00:36They are not locked up into the one seed.
00:38They still need to win this game.
00:40They can, of course, I don't want to say afford a loss, but a loss doesn't sink them.
00:44A loss sinks the Lions, essentially.
00:47What are your thoughts on this game?
00:48Because we have to look at the totality of this week's schedule overall,
00:52where the Seahawks are in a very, very winnable game.
00:55And the Seahawks are only plus 185, right behind the Rams for the division.
00:59So getting the number one seed is huge, Joe.
01:02Expectations for the Rams in this one.
01:04To me, I say they don't take their foot off the gas, and they try and drop 30 points today.
01:08Yeah, I mean, that's, you know, you have a quarterback in Matt Stafford playing MVP,
01:12like after they lost a couple weeks ago to Carolina.
01:16He bounced back with a solid effort, 45-17 over a dead Arizona team.
01:21They got the rushing attack going, along with Kyron Williams.
01:24Blake Corum had a touchdown last week.
01:26So they have multiple players that they could throw at you.
01:29But this is a real litmus test for Detroit in this matchup.
01:33Last year, they were the number one overall seed, and look what happened.
01:37They got abused by Jaden Daniels and Washington in their first playoff matchup.
01:42I actually like Detroit in this ballgame, guys.
01:45And when we talk about being able to exploit the L.A. Rams defense at multiple levels,
01:52that's what Detroit possesses.
01:53Jameer Gibbs, even Montgomery, can both run and catch the football out of the backfield.
01:58You do have Jamison Williams that is a home run hitter.
02:02St. Brown, you could throw multiple weapons at L.A. and really stress that defense.
02:08I think it's a big day for Jared Goff.
02:09I took him for 275-plus, two touchdowns.
02:12I expect Williams to be that home run hitter, not so much St. Brown.
02:17I think St. Brown could get his catches.
02:20But I think it's George Williams and the anytime touchdown as well.
02:24Don't be shocked if Detroit pulls out the outright upset today.
02:27All right, George, to you in terms of who do you like in this game and the total.
02:32And then, you know, do you have interest in the Seahawks at plus 185 for the division,
02:37knowing that the Rams are in an upset spot right now?
02:40All right, we'll answer the last question first.
02:43Do I think the Seahawks could win with division?
02:45Sure, I have my problems with Sam Darnold, especially in big games.
02:48I mean, he seems to choke.
02:50So that game against the Rams earlier, right, he threw four interceptions there.
02:53That was ugly.
02:54And the defense of Seattle played great.
02:56They kept them in the game despite those four interceptions.
02:58So that's my buggable.
02:59Until I see Darnold actually do it in a big game, I'm going to have my doubts.
03:03As for the game we're talking about here, listen, we're not playing any unders in this game, right?
03:07It's over galore here.
03:09I think, I forget which one of you guys said, I think they scored 30 points.
03:12The winner had to score 30 points.
03:14This is not going to be 21-17.
03:15This is going to be 34-31, something like that.
03:17I think they're going to get the over.
03:19Ingo Bonanza, your over prompts.
03:20You're talking about Detroit.
03:21Yeah, we know the running backs are great, right?
03:23Gibbs is fantastic.
03:24Maybe one of the best players in the NFL.
03:26He's worth the price of admission all by himself, all right?
03:28He could stop on the dime.
03:29He saw what he made that.
03:30They're on Bland.
03:31The Cowboys quarterback looked stupid last week, all right?
03:33Gibbs stops, and Bland is still running.
03:36Both ankles are broken there, so love watching Gibbs here.
03:39I think it was very impressive about the Lions offense against the Cowboys,
03:42and I understand the Cowboys have no pass defense.
03:44I get it.
03:45But Jamison Williams wasn't just a deep threat.
03:48It wasn't, okay, Jamison, go run a fly.
03:49Go run a post.
03:50No, he was running digs, curls, ins, outs here.
03:53He looked like a real wide receiver, maybe for the first time here.
03:56Since Campbell's taken over the play calling here, he's gotten him more involved here,
04:00so I like that.
04:01I think you can play your over props all over the place here.
04:04Corum, any time touchdown, you know, he's almost splitting the carries with Kyron.
04:08They actually are a team that's serious about wanting to keep Kyron healthy,
04:12not overworking him.
04:13So Corum's getting more and more plays here.
04:15The only thing I'll disagree with Joe about is I'm on the Rams.
04:17I think they win the game.
04:18I might take Detroit in the points, and this game is not part of any parlays
04:22or any teasers I have, by the way.
04:23Could be a good game.
04:24Could be fun.
04:24Looking forward to watching it in the 4 o'clock window here.
04:27But I think the Rams are the better overall team, and they're at home.
04:29I'll take the Rams.
