00:00Trevor Lawrence is questionable against the Jets.
00:02I think there's an upset coming in that one.
00:04Jared Goff, great game Detroit at the Rams.
00:08Yeah, I don't – look, I know it's a controlled environment,
00:11so Jared Goff should be fine.
00:13Yeah.
00:13Jared Goff is startable.
00:15But I think, you know, Trevor Lawrence has the easier day.
00:17Now, the only question is, like, what happens?
00:19Do they just, like, completely steamroll the Jets
00:22and take their foot off the gas?
00:23And if you want a blueprint for that, you can look to last week's game
00:26where they were up on the Colts, and he was QB 13 Trevor Lawrence.
00:29The weeks before that, QB 5, QB 7, QB 11.
00:31So Trevor Lawrence has been steady and predictable.
00:34Jared Goff, on the other hand, in this game against the Rams,
00:37is facing a much tougher defense, okay?
00:39That's a real pass rush you got to be concerned about.
00:43He has finished as QB 17, QB 9, QB 9, and QB 14.
00:47So these guys are very close.
00:49If this was in Detroit, I might feel a little differently.
00:51But because it is on the road still, despite the fact it's a controlled environment,
00:54I'll give the edge to the other side here with Trevor Lawrence.
00:59I just don't think the Jets – I mean, the Jets are going to have trouble moving the football.
01:03They're playing a third-string quarterback, right?
01:05So there could be just a lot of just Jacksonville on the field.
01:08And the more Jacksonville is on the field, the more fantasy points Trevor Lawrence can accumulate.
01:13I think it's going to be a very, very long day on the road for the New York Jets.
01:17All right, Joe, you've got your work cut out for you here.
01:21This is why they pay you the big bucks.
01:23Two running backs right next to each other.
01:25RB 36, RB 37, respectively.
01:28RB 36 is Blake Corum.
01:29We just talked about this game, Rams versus Detroit.
01:32RB 37 is David Montgomery.
01:35Same game, Detroit at the Rams.
01:38Yeah, well, I think it was at Maya Angelou that said,
01:40when someone tells you who they are, believe them, right?
01:43Like, okay, well, the Rams are telling me – I know, you look, you come for the football,
01:50you stay for the poetry.
01:52That's what you do here on the channel.
01:54But I'm going to say this.
01:55The Rams are telling you what this backfield is the last two weeks.
01:58Blake Corum in week 13 against Carolina, 7 for 81 in the touchdown.
02:03Last week against Arizona, 12 for 128, two touchdowns.
02:07They're splitting this backfield with Kyron Williams.
02:09They're trying to keep everybody healthy.
02:10So both dogs are going to eat here, and it's at home, and this Rams offense is good.
02:15So I'm going to go with Blake Corum.
02:16It's not that – like, I'm not taking shots at Montgomery here.
02:18I'm not saying Montgomery can't have a touchdown and be productive.
02:20He's absolutely a flex play.
02:22But if I'm deciding between these two guys, I'm taking the guy at home with the Rams
02:25who has had three touchdowns in the last two weeks because it seems like Blake Corum
02:29has, like, a different vibe about him going on here down the stretch.
02:33And who knows what this backfield is going to turn into by the time we get to the playoffs.
02:37Now, they keep saying it's to keep Kyron Williams fresh.
02:39Maybe – or maybe they just like the fact that they could split it between these two
02:43guys, and Blake Corum seems to be the guy scoring TDs.
02:46So I'm going to go with Blake Corum here.
02:48Montgomery is certainly startable.
02:50But if I have to choose one, I'm going to take the guy and arguably that best offense
02:55in football are certainly one of them with Matthew Stafford.
02:58Now, here's a question for you today.
03:00If Drake May wins today and beats Buffalo and wins that division, does it matter what Matthew
03:05Stafford does the rest of the year for MVP?
03:08I mean, Stafford would have to have a couple of really huge games.
03:12But, no, I think May would lock it up completely.
03:16It's a great question.
03:17What do you think?
03:18Yeah.
03:19I tend to agree.
03:20I mean, it's one thing to make the playoffs and one thing to have a good record.
03:23It's another thing to win that division.
03:24And then to do it in dramatic fashion against Josh Allen, really interesting stuff there.
03:29But, again, I just think, you know, if you've been watching these Patriot games, they play
03:33a brand of football that's from, like, you and I were growing up in the mid to late 90s,
03:38early 2000s, where, you know, people were getting wrecked all over the place.
03:41Now, it's clean, but it's physical.
03:43Right.
03:43And I just don't know if the Buffalo Bills are tough enough.
03:46I've got to be honest with you.
03:47I think they're a little on the softer side.
03:48Sorry.
