00:00about. We make our money on the wide receivers. So we're talking about early season ranks.
00:07All kidding aside, we've talked quarterbacks, we've talked tight end, but now let's get
00:09into wide receivers because this is where I think if you reach too early or you wait
00:14around too late, it could make or break your season. Joe, let's get started. All right,
00:19let's start at the very top with C. D. Lamb. He's my one on one period this year. Yes.
00:24More than Christian McCaffrey. Even why? Because wide receivers stay healthier than running
00:27backs. And I know McCaffrey was fantastic last year. He's back to being, you know, the
00:32elite level Christian McCaffrey. That's fine. I don't want to live in the past. Running
00:35backs get hurt more frequently in C. D. Lamb. Finally, after all these years of us waiting
00:40for him to become this guy, now he's become this guy and now we don't want to believe
00:43in it. It's stupid. It's stupid. Let's not do it to ourselves. C. D. Lamb at the one
00:48Tyree kills at the two. But Tyree killed did have some issues down the road last year.
00:52The second half that are a little concerning again, quarterback play at the end of the
00:55year to wasn't great. Let's hope that some better health will get us there. But again,
00:59when the players have their games that are so based in their speed, when that speed even
01:03starts to take a half step away, things are a little bit more concerning. But still, again,
01:08we're trying to split hairs with the elites. It's kind of a waste of time. Jamar Chase
01:11at three. Now, Chase could easily be the guy at the number one spot at the end of the year.
01:15All that has to happen is curly haired. Joe Burrow has to stay healthy for an entire season
01:21offensive line that protects him. And Jamar Chase also has to stay healthy for an entire year
01:27with curly hair. Joe Burrow, in order to get to the top of this, right? It's very possible he
01:31could. Joe is bald for all our radio listeners, by the way, just, just do a quick search on Joe
01:36Burrow. I love Joe Burrow. The hairstyle is a little soul glow right now. It's a little,
01:42it's fantastic. Eric LaSalle would be jealous. Justin Jefferson at number four, which is
01:48not where we're used to seeing Justin Jefferson. We're seeing him at one, but the problem is
01:52can we make him one with Sam Darnold or JJ McCarthy? That's a hard sell for me
01:57because to be prolific, you do need a quarterback that can help you get there.
02:01It's not very often. You get somebody who's a prolific wide receiver one overall. It doesn't
02:05have a quarterback again, or the presence of a Kirk cousins, or even last year at Dak Prescott,
02:09right? Think about how much crap those two quarterbacks take, but they've produced number
02:13one, overall wide receivers, haven't they? So can JJ McCarthy and Sam Darnold do that?
02:18Probably not. So you can't put Justin Jefferson one. I'm on Ross St. Brown is probably the most
02:22underappreciated asset. You're going to be in the fifth, sixth spot of your draft. And I'm Ron Ross
02:27St. Brown is going to be there pretty much every time. And you know what? I will take him every
02:31single time he's available. He has been so steady last year, 164 targets, 119 receptions, 10
02:38touchdowns, 1500 yards. Again, if you, if you say those were Jamar Chase's numbers last year,
02:44everybody puts Jamar Chase number one, but they're not going on Monroe St. Brown one.
02:47I think it's, I think it's a failure collectively of the fantasy football writer community,
02:53analyst community, whatever you want to call it, because I'm on Ross St. Brown has been that dude.
02:57And again, the middle of the draft this year, it's just so easy to take him there. If you're
03:01in a salary cap league and Jefferson goes high and chase goes high and I'm on Ron goes for a
03:05little bit less, take the savings with them on Ron, uh, Aja Brown at six puking to cool all the
03:09way up at seven, an incredible season for him and incredible offense for him to operate in
03:15health. Sometimes it can be an issue for him. That's the only outlier for him that you throw
03:19in there saying, uh, could be negative. He was hurt a lot in college at some injuries. He had to
03:23work through last year, but man, what an impressive rookie season for him. Garrett Wilson is an
03:28incredible talent, but this is the poster child for at number nine talent is great. If you don't
03:35have the quarterback to execute that channel, it doesn't matter. Just ask Garrett Wilson, how he
03:38feels about it. Devante Adams at 10, Marvin Harrison jr. Again, aggressive ranking by me at 11
03:43and Drake London, even more aggressive at 12. I think those two guys are in a situation for
03:49breakout seasons, both exceptional talents, Marvin Harrison, especially. So I expect Marvin
03:55Harrison to hit the ground running. There's no early discounts with Marvin Harrison. He's going
03:59as early as 10 and as late as sometimes 15. So you just have to, you know, kind of grit and
04:05bear it. If you want Marvin Harrison jr, you're going to have to pay for it. But Matt, that's what
04:08the wide receiver one grouping looks like in my ranking so far as we're looking early on in the
04:13fantasy football season.
