అల్లూరి సీతారామరాజు జిల్లాలో కనిష్ఠ ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. అరకులోయలో శనివారం ఉదయం 3.3 డిగ్రీల అత్యల్ప ఉష్ణోగ్రత నమోదైనట్లు చింతపల్లి ప్రాంతీయ వ్యవసాయ పరిశోధనా స్థానం వాతావరణ విభాగం తెలిపింది. మరో వైపు ఏపీ వ్యాప్తంగా ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు పడిపోతున్నాయి.ఉదయం, సాయంత్రం ప్రయాణాలు మానుకోవాలని, పొగమంచు కారణంగా మరింత జాగ్రత్తగా ఉండాలని అధికారులు సూచిస్తున్నారు. మరో 3 రోజులు చలి గాలుల తీవ్రత కొనసాగే అవకాశం ఉందంటున్నారు. చిన్నారులు, వృద్ధుల పట్ల మరింత జాగ్రత్త అవసరం అని సూచిస్తున్నారు. ఇక రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో అతి తక్కువ ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదయ్యాయి. మినుములూరులో 4 డిగ్రీలు, చింతపల్లిలో 5.5 డిగ్రీల అత్యల్ప ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదయ్యాయి. మన్యం ఏరియాలో ఉదయం 9 గంటలు దాటినా మంచు తెరలు వీడటం లేదు.
Cold wave conditions continue to grip Andhra Pradesh as temperatures drop sharply across several regions. Araku Valley in Alluri Sitarama Raju district recorded a chilling 3.3°C, the lowest temperature reported so far.
Officials have issued advisories urging people to avoid early morning and evening travel due to dense fog and cold winds, which are expected to persist for the next three days. Special precautions are recommended for children and senior citizens.
Several other areas including Minumuluru and Chintapalli also witnessed extremely low temperatures. In the Manyam agency areas, foggy conditions are lingering even after 9 AM, affecting daily life and travel.
