Panchayati Elections. The second phase of the panchayat elections is scheduled to be held on Sunday. ​​While elections were to be held for 4,332 village panchayats in the second phase, no nominations were filed in 5 places. Sarpanches were elected unanimously in 415 villages. Consequently, 13,128 candidates are in the fray for the remaining 3,906 Sarpanch positions. Regarding the 38,322 ward member positions, no nominations were filed in 107 wards. 8,304 ward members were elected unanimously. 78,158 candidates are contesting for the remaining 29,903 ward positions.
ఇక రెండో విడత పంచాయతీ ఎన్నికలు ఆదివారం జరగనున్నాయి. రెండో విడతలో 4,332 గ్రామ పంచాయతీలకు ఎన్నికలు జరగాల్సి ఉండగా, 5 చోట్ల నామినేషన్లు దాఖలు కాలేదు. 415 గ్రామాల్లో సర్పంచ్‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌లు ఏకగ్రీవమయ్యారు. దీంతో మిగిలిన 3,906 సర్పంచ్ స్థానాలకు 13,128 మంది అభ్యర్థులు బరిలో నిలిచారు. ఇక 38,322 వార్డులకు గాను 107 వార్డుల్లో ఎవరూ నామినేషన్లు వేయలేదు. 8,304 వార్డు సభ్యులు ఏకగ్రీవమయ్యాయి. మిగిలిన 29,903 వార్డులకు 78,158 మంది పోటీలో ఉన్నారు.
