00:00Bill O'Reilly issues dire warning to Republicans.
00:04On an episode of his No Spin News show,
00:07Bill O'Reilly warned Republican leaders that rising costs are a political vulnerability the party must fix,
00:13urging House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune
00:17to produce a plan to bring down prices, especially health insurance premiums,
00:21prescription costs and medical spending, and said he will be ruthless until they do.
00:25He pointed to a Marist-NPR-PBS national poll in which 57% of respondents said
00:32lowering prices should be the administration's top priority,
00:35and 55% of national voters stated that they support Democratic candidates in their district.
00:41Trump has criticized opponents' emphasis on affordability,
00:45calling it a Democrat scam while defending the administration's record on inflation and prices.
00:50O'Reilly, there's no doubt about it, President Trump and his administration,
00:53if they want to hold the House and Senate next November,
00:56they've got to get the prices down of insurance, health care, car, house,
01:00not that far away on the food.
01:02The opposition, of course, is hysterical.
01:05He also referenced a Health Gallup survey of more than 20,000 adults
01:08that revealed 90% of respondents believe they are paying too much for health care.
01:13If voters keep struggling to afford food, insurance, and medicine,
01:17Republicans risk losses in swing districts and states.
01:20And Laura Ingram warned that the midterms right now look ugly for Republicans.
01:25Republicans struggle to agree on how to tackle affordability.
01:28And while some, like Senator Josh Hawley,
01:30have proposed tax deductions for medical expenses,
01:33party leaders have yet to present a complete plan.
