00:00Well hi Sheree. I'm super excited to chat with you today. It's kind of crazy to think that this
00:05season of The Real Houses of Atlanta is nearing its end, right? We only got a couple episodes left.
00:09I know. Did it not go by so fast? It always does. Slow down. What's going on? I know. How are you
00:15just feeling about the season coming to an end and everyone seeing the finale coming up?
00:20Um, I feel really good about the season. I think that, you know, uh, I mean, of course we had our
00:27ups and downs. We, you know, but I feel like we have some really good times and, you know, I was
00:31trying to be, you know, the peacemaker this season and I felt like we made some, I got a little leeway
00:39a little bit with girls. Yeah. How do you feel like this season compared to last season, which was
00:43like your, another comeback season for you? I really, really enjoyed, um, you know, first of all,
00:51thanks everyone who, you know, was fighting to bring me, you know, for me to come back. I, you know,
00:55I love, uh, love all the fans and what you think about the season? Oh, it was good. And I feel
01:00like it's really picking up now as we're getting like closer to the end. Like, I feel like there's
01:04a lot going on with all the different ladies and the stuff that we kind of heard about between
01:08Drew and, Drew and Ralph and stuff. Like we're really seeing to see all of that play out, which
01:11has, I think been exciting the last couple episodes, especially. Yeah, for sure. For sure. Yeah.
01:15None of us expected that. I mean, it seemed like they were, you know, fine during the season.
01:20And then as soon as, you know, we wrap it, you know, different directions.
01:24You were surprised about Drew and Ralph, because I, I was thinking that you would say otherwise.
01:27Well, of course, I mean, we've all seen, you know, the chemistry and, you know, some of the
01:34things that has happened in their relationship, uh, relationship the last couple of years. So of
01:37course, you know, you had that, but it seemed like this season from what I saw, they seemed like they,
01:44you know, had been, you know, doing much better. I didn't see the, you know, the arguments or,
01:50uh, the clash with them, you know, this season. I didn't see that.
01:56Yeah. When you found out, cause I think we're going to see that on the episodes. Was it
01:59from Drew or was it from the press? From the press.
02:03Wow. So she didn't clue any of you girls in, or at least not you specifically.
02:06No. Wow.
02:08Anyone. I think we all found out in the press.
02:11Yeah. Did you feel a little, I don't want to say betrayed. Did you feel a little blindsided in the
02:14fact that she didn't clue you girls in after you had already filmed the whole season?
02:17I mean, I do. I feel like, um, you know, cause it, it happened so fast after we wrapped,
02:23I felt, you know, we all have had things happen or go on in our lives. And what we did do is sign
02:29up to be on a reality show. So we need to see a reality, you know, don't portray that, you know,
02:36everything is fine and everything is hungry dory when it's not, because that's, that's when we are
02:41here to rally around you and to be that support, you know, sometimes you need.
02:45Yeah. What have been your thoughts seeing these past episodes, like this most recent episode,
02:49they were talking about therapy and that Ralph doesn't want to go anymore. What's your response
02:53to seeing all this play out knowing that they do break up?
02:57Um, you know, divorce is hard. Um, marriage is very difficult, but you got to put in the work and,
03:09you know, if, you know, sometimes therapy, you know, it's not for everyone, but I do think that,
03:14you know, giving it a try and just making sure, you know, you put in a thousand percent to make
03:20it work. And if that's what you, you know, what you guys want to do, then I, I think that, you know,
03:25you should do it, but sometimes you're at your wits end and, you know, you've tried everything
03:29and it just doesn't work. Yeah. Wish them the best. You know, I, you know, I gotten to
03:35in a better, better place with drew this season. And I actually, you know, think Ralph is a good,
03:40you know, good person as far as what I see and how he treats me, but you know, they have a family
03:47and, you know, I just hope, you know, just wish the best for them.
03:49Yeah, absolutely. Speaking of relationships, we've seen your relationship with Martel a little bit this
03:53season. I believe he's going to be coming up on another episode. What's the status with you guys?
03:57Are you guys still together? How's everything going? Well, Martel and I have always been friends
04:02and we are still friends. Yes. We're still, we're still really good friends. Okay. Friends,
04:06friends. How about him and Kenya? Because that was a real big blow up early in the season. Are they,
04:11do they squash things? Are we going to see that? Well, you have to wait and see,
04:14but they do run into each other at my sip and see for coming up for, to celebrate you being a
04:22grandma, right? Yes. And I'm sure that's been an exciting chapter of your life, right?
04:26Oh my gosh. So incredible. So incredible. I never thought that I could love, like, you know,
04:34you love your kids, but this is like so many times more. Yeah. We've seen the previews for next week,
04:43right? Your ex, Bob, and there's talk about him in the episode. What can you say about that
04:47scene in the preview so far? Well, you definitely see Bob show up, you know, we've established a better
04:55relationship from what you guys have saw in the past. Right. And at the end of the day, we are
04:59grandparents. We're new grandparents. So of course I wouldn't do a sip and see and not invite Bob.
05:04Yeah. Are you guys in communication a lot or not that often? Just enough. Okay. As much as we need.
05:12You're keeping it simple. Yeah. I feel like social media has been buzzing about this new after show
05:18episode that just came out when you and Sonia get into it. And you guys have always been pretty good
05:22buddies. I think everyone's a little bit surprised about that. And it involves the birthday party and
05:27who paid and who was supposed to pay. What was your take on how you guys kind of got into it during the
05:32after show? I was very shocked. I was very surprised by that because I did think that Sonia and I had
05:39a good relationship. And I felt like if she felt a way about anything that she definitely could have
05:44come to me and told, you know, told me and it did not have to be on camera. I, I was shocked to know
05:52that, you know, she and Marlo were the ones talking about it because I mean, you guys already know how
05:57much heat and how much flack that I get from Marlo shit. Yeah. Things that Marlo do. They don't only
06:03accuse Marlo. They're like, they just grouped me in with it. Right. So I've always, you know, I've tried to
06:08have her back and I just, it just really threw me, threw me off guard. So for my birthday, which is
06:13around the holidays, you know, a lot of people are traveling. So, and I'm all, anybody who knows
06:18me, I am very last minute. I will throw a party the day of. Right. So it's my birthday. Martell's
06:23in town. We, uh, he, you know, he got me gifts. He bought me, uh, some flowers. We went and got
06:29massages. And then later on that day, I was like, you know what? I'm going to do it. I'm going to do
06:33a dinner because a bunch of my friends wanted to, you know, come over and celebrate. So I put this
06:38together. I invited, uh, Sonia and, you know, her husband and, you know, a bunch of other friends.
06:43And I also invited Martell. So for her to get there and think that one of my guests were supposed to
06:50pay for her and her husband's meal was the eye. It was ridiculous to me. You're coming to a birthday
06:57party. Typically when I go to a birthday party, the birthday person doesn't pay for anything.
07:01Yeah. You know, but if I'm coming with a guy and I don't even know if I would, if I was with a guy
07:08if he would want another man paying for my meal and his meal. Yeah, it's true. And I think you did
07:12say on the after show that you and Martell haven't been together for that long. So that was part of
07:16the reason why he didn't owe anyone else a free party. He was a gift. He was a guest. Yeah. He was
07:23a guest just like everyone else. I put this together. I did this. So, I mean, you know, had it been,
07:29you know, later on and, you know, we really established something more than, you know, just a
07:33friendship. If we were, you know, in a committed relationship, then yeah, I definitely would think
07:37that, you know, he would, you know, pay or, you know, of course, if he was my husband. But I don't
07:42feel like that should have been put on him, the expectation. I don't go anywhere if I can't afford
07:48to eat. So I'm not assuming that anyone's going to pay my meal. If I'm going to, you know, if I know
07:53it's a thousand dollars a meal or a place, a restaurant, if I'm invited, trust me, I can afford it.
07:59And I'm going to pay my own way if I have to. And I'm not going to complain about it.
08:02Yeah, it's true. If you make the plan, then you have to be prepared to pay whatever the amount
08:05could be that you kind of signed up for. I mean, no one had to pay for their meals. Everybody got
08:10a free meal. Yeah. You know, of course, Martel reimbursed by the time the check came to him.
08:16The people, my friends at the end of the table had already paid for it. Yeah. So, of course,
08:21you know, he reimbursed them. But it was something very small, very silly. You know, he,
08:28you know, he said something and they ran with it, but he said it laughing while pulling his credit
08:33card out. So it was actually a joke joke. And it was just really strange that they felt like that
08:40was something that they should run back and, you know, talk about. Yeah. You know, it's other things
08:46that, you know, I could be talking about, too, but I chose not to because I really thought that,
08:50you know, we were good. Yeah. Does this situation come up at the reunion? Because I know you guys filmed
08:54that a few weeks ago. It does. Always. It always does. Yes. And the entire time, both of them kept
09:02saying, I think it's Courtney. Courtney did. I think it's Courtney. I'm like, so I'm looking at
09:10Courtney sideways, like, because Courtney's like, no, I didn't, you know, it wasn't me because it
09:14wasn't that serious. You know, we were laughing about it. You know, it was just weird. Yeah.
09:19Because Marlo does kind of throw Courtney under the bus there in that moment. Well, Marlo and Sonia
09:23did to me the entire season. I mean, off camera, you guys don't see it, but kept saying it's Courtney,
09:30Courtney, Courtney, Courtney. How do you feel like Courtney's fit in with the group so far?
09:34I think Courtney fit in great with the group. You don't have a friend, a newbie come in and able
09:40to hold their own against two very strong characters on the show. A kid in Kenya, held her own and then
09:48still be, you know, be able to, you know, come around the group, be a girl's girl, be bubbly,
09:53be happy, be fun. You don't, you don't get that. So I think that she's all an all around girl. And
09:59I think she fit really great with the group. I feel like Candy hasn't been super present,
10:03specifically this season. Do you feel like she's a little out of it and she's not as into the show
10:08maybe as she once used to be? Yeah, I totally feel that way. I felt like, you know, she's just too
10:14busy. Yeah. You know, she got other things going on and this seems to be not a priority for her
10:20anymore. And, you know, you know, more power to her, but if that's the case, then, you know,
10:28it's not fair to, you know, everyone else who, you know, we have to show up. We show up and we're
10:34there and, you know, we signed up to do this and we make this a priority. Do you feel like maybe her
10:40time on the show could be coming to an end sooner rather than later?
10:46Do I feel like it or do I think it should? I'm just kidding.
10:49Those could be two, two different answers or the same. I don't know. You tell me.
10:55I don't know. I think sometimes, you know,
10:57some time away and, you know, people for people to actually miss you and, you know, see what you
11:06have going on new or, you know, when you come back, I think that's great. The times I took away,
11:12trust me, they were mental work balancers. Like I actually needed those times, whether they were
11:19whatever I was going through, because it's a lot, it's a lot of shooting. And then, you know,
11:24I know she has so many other things going on, then maybe just kind of focus on some of the other
11:29things. And then when you come back, maybe you're open to talking about what's really going on in your
11:34life. Cause it, you know, not only is she not here most of the time, you can't talk about the
11:39things that happen in her life. Right. Yeah. I think it's like the pause that's become a thing
11:45now on housewives. And we just saw it with Tamara that she came back and people are really enjoying
11:49her back on OC. So I do think when you do the show for so long, you start to kind of lose sight
11:53of what's happening in the moment. And I think maybe taking a pause for any housewife of any city
11:57could be helpful sometimes. Trust me from one, someone who's been gone a few times and come back.
12:04It's definitely helpful. Yeah, definitely. How was the reunion for you? Did you leave in a better
12:09place with some of the women that you've had issues with? I wouldn't say that.
12:17Nothing could be perfect. Well, what about like, I guess, Drew and Candy?
12:20Don't be too perfect.
12:21Is it Drew, the person that you kind of clashed with the most of the reunion?
12:26I don't want to give you too much, but I will say that the OG did have to check some people.
12:32Mm-hmm. As well, she should.
12:34Yeah. So she had to say the reunion.
12:37Okay.
12:39But, you know, it was really good. It was a good reunion. I think everyone was able to get some
12:44things off their chest as we should. And, you know, moving forward, I don't know how, you know,
12:49it's one thing, one.
12:54But the shady receipt, because I was going to ask that next, because Andy says there's a shady receipt
12:58that happens.
12:59Okay. So, yeah. A super shady receipt that is beyond probably the shadiest thing, like Andy said.
13:07Yeah.
13:08The shadiest receipt ever in Housewives history. Yeah. I can't wait for you guys to see that.
13:13But I was going to say, it's another little disagreement that is going to shock everyone.
13:20Yeah. It's going to turn some, I would say some alliances.
13:28Hmm. And this is a disagreement you're involved in, or you are watching gleefully?
13:33I cannot say.
13:35Okay. Now, it's interesting you just used the word alliance, because I think from some of the fans,
13:39and maybe some of the women, it's felt like, is this side, these people are on this side,
13:43these people are on this side. Is that something that you feel as a cast member on the show,
13:46that it is a divided group? I felt that even more this season, yes. And for me, it's mainly because
13:54none of the other girls really cared for Marlo. So, I'm cool with Marlo. So, I'm not going to be
14:03not cool with Marlo, because you're not cool with Marlo. So, I think that's what the divide was,
14:08and it was so obvious where, you know, even so much so where they're speaking for each other,
14:14and, you know, it just got really, really crazy. I mean, we're all adults, and I hear people say
14:20sometimes, you pick the wrong team. Like, we're adults. Yeah. You're not in middle school.
14:27I'm team me, honey. Yeah, it's true. And everyone should be friends with who they want to be friends
14:31with, not based on what alliances, quote unquote, are going on. Yeah. How about, what can you say about
14:37if Marlo and Candy kind of resolved their issues? Because things were very ugly early in the season.
14:41And it seems now they're kind of just not talking. It doesn't seem like there's much
14:44of a relationship in the current episodes. Is there a resolve for them in the reunion?
14:51I, you know, I don't want to give you too much. There, I would say that there are some resolve
15:00in some, in some relationships. I'm not going to tell you who. Yeah. And actually, I feel like
15:05some people actually went way back. They, backwards. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Kind of. Yeah.
15:13As we kind of wrap up here, what would you say would be high and low of this season? I know you
15:17said that you did enjoy the season for the most part, but I know there was kind of bumpy roads
15:21along the way with everyone. What was your high and low from season 15?
15:23My high and low, my high is always definitely my family, filming with my family, watching Cairo
15:31become a dad, watching him, watching him with his baby, becoming a grandma was definitely my
15:42all time high. My low was probably, where's my low?
15:53Just not really being able to get the girls on, you know, the same page where I was trying
15:59to bring everybody together. I still felt like toward the end, we were still very divided.
16:04Yeah. And we really did. So you try to bring everyone together at that brunch that you had
16:08and it just went haywire, even though you did, we saw you put in the effort to do so, but Marlo
16:13Candy, there was a lot of bad blood still that couldn't be overcome. It seemed.
16:17Yeah. Yeah. At some point you just got to, you know, realize that everyone's not for you,
16:24but it's okay to, we're in a group, we're a group of friends. You can agree to disagree
16:30and you can be for Joe because sometimes it just makes it very uncomfortable for everybody
16:35in the group.
16:36Yeah, absolutely. And my last question, how is She by Sheree doing? I mean, I'm looking at a
16:40beautiful sign right behind you. How's the business going? Do you feel like the women are supporting
16:45it? How's everything going with that?
16:47She by Sheree is doing really great. You know, of course I'm still learning. I'm still, you
16:51know, I got so much growing to do. We've expanded as you saw with the baby line and, you know,
16:58just continue to add new products and, you know, I'm still looking for, you know, just really
17:01trying to put a great team together. And that's been, you know, kind of difficult finding people
17:06who have the same drive and vision and, you know, belief and is your brand. So still looking
17:14for that. Hey, hit me up www.shebasheree.com.
17:19You broke the internet.
17:20Yeah. But yeah, it's doing good. It's doing, it's doing really good. And I'm excited for,
17:25for, you know, guys, you guys to see some of the things that we have coming up.
17:29Yeah. And I hope there will be a She by Sheree stand at BravoCon in Vegas this year.
17:32Oh, you know it. I don't know if I'm supposed to announce that already, but yeah.
17:37I don't know, but I'm just assuming that there was one last year. So there, I'm sure,
17:40except in Vegas this time. Yes. In Vegas. Yeah. So I'm excited. Well, Sheree, thank you so much.
17:45I'm excited to see the rest of the season play out and the reunion with everything that goes on with
17:49that. Thank you.
