00:00I keep trying to make comparisons between your career in communication

00:04and my career in communication, and there's very little overlap.

00:09If there was no Internet and you had the creativity and the energy

00:14and the drive that you had when you were 11 without an Internet,

00:18where would you have taken that?

00:20I don't think there would have been an avenue,

00:21because obviously you would have to go to network television or something like that.

00:25And they'd be like, you're 11, go away.

00:27Yeah, or if they were that kind about it.

00:30They don't want to hear anything from somebody who's 11 or has a better idea.

00:34So all of that, I mean, it's a certain, it's a right place, right time kind of thing.

00:40Also, a lot of what I do, what gabs the world, is such weird stuff like

00:44burying myself alive for a week or other stuff like that,

00:46that network television probably would be like, yeah, we're good.

00:50So it's like a big opportunity for us is that there are no gatekeepers.

00:53There's no one I have to go convince to let me do things.

00:55I can just do whatever.

00:56And now, because of things like you and YouTube,

01:01network television is struggling, where it used to be supreme in the world of communication.
