00:01Because you started when you were five years old.

00:05Honestly, I probably kind of taught myself,

00:08but I always wanted to be like my older brother

00:11and I learned to ride my bike at maybe like three years old

00:14without training wheels, maybe four years old,

00:16but that was only because my older brother learned that day

00:18and I was like, mom, dad, take mine off right now,

00:20I'm learning. Wow.

00:21And I did, so.

00:23That encapsulates what I know of you as a human being.

00:27It's that competitive drive

00:29that overrides every little daily occurrence.

00:33Am I right about that?

00:34Yeah, sometimes that's good, sometimes that's bad.

00:36How is it, and when is it bad?

00:38Oh gosh, when I'm just playing like a casual card game

00:42with my family or my friends, and then like.

00:46Now wait a minute, is there money involved?

00:47Everybody hates me by the end of the night

00:48and I'm like, how great, I ruined Christmas

00:51and it's like, I won't do that this year though.

00:55Do you have to win everything?

00:57Like a Christmas card game, Monopoly, you gotta win?

00:59Well, I want to.

01:00You gotta win Halloween, you can bring home

01:01the most candy. I know I can't win

01:02every time, but I loved Halloween.

01:05So when we trick or treated in Des Moines growing up

01:07and I would be like so sweaty under my costume

01:11because I was in a dead sprint from house to house.

01:13Like I had to have, I had to have the most candy.

01:16Like that's how I operated and I would,

01:18my dad like would completely lose me in the neighborhood

01:20and I would like show back up at home

01:22and my mom would be there giving out candy

01:24and my mom would get pissed at my dad

01:25because it's like, why did you lose our daughter?

01:27Why is she running through the neighborhood by herself?

01:30But it was because I was just trying to beat everybody.

01:33Wow.

01:35So you're still like that?

01:37Well, I don't trick or treat anymore.
