00:33Then in April, it was announced that longtime cast member Angus T. Jones would not return

00:37as a series regular, thanks to his online rant against the show late last year.

01:08Tamblyn will play Jenny, a young woman from New York who moves to L.A. to pursue a career

01:12in showbiz.

01:14She will move in with Allen and Walden, played by John Cryer and Ashton Kutcher, but it won't

01:18be a smooth transition.

01:20According to the show's executive producer, Chuck Lorre, Jenny isn't too much different

01:25from her dad.

01:26He tells TVLine.com she's having a good time and doesn't care about the destruction left

01:30behind her.

01:35The presence of a younger woman last season proved to be a good thing for the show.
