00:00I'm Natalie Crawford.
00:02I am the on-set principal costumer.
00:04And this is my story.
00:09When I was a kid, I actually did want to work in movies.
00:11Meeting.
00:13When I graduated, I got my first job
00:15as an Ager Dyer assistant, which is making something
00:19look lived in.
00:21That's when I really fell in love with costumes.
00:24On set, we kick on the steamer, prep the line for the day
00:28of what the cast is going to be wearing.
00:31We have a marking rehearsal so we can see what's happening
00:34in that scene.
00:35With sound, I'll wire the cast, make sure everything
00:39looks perfect.
00:41I'll watch the monitors so that we don't have
00:43any continuity errors.
00:45A few more marks.
00:46And action.
00:48We got to build a bunch of costumes for the cosplay scene.
00:54It feels really cool to see your creations come to life,
00:58whether it's sewing or just who I'm working with
01:01teaches me something.
01:02I just always want to learn something new to perfect my craft.
01:06I'm proud of where I'm at, but we can climb that ladder
01:10as high as we want to.
