Fast and Furious 7 Casts Romeo Santos in an unknown role. He previously almost starred in a Will Smith produced tv series and his music has recently been featured in Sugar and Blue is The Warmest Color.

00:00Fast and Furious 7 may be in the home stretch of wrapping up filming, but that hasn't stopped them from adding one more star to their packed cast.
00:06That person is Latin music superstar Romeo Santos.
00:10Vin Diesel announced the news at a recent Romeo concert, but details of his character are still unknown.
00:15So many of you are still wondering, who is Romeo Santos?
00:18Well, here are five things to know.
00:20Number five, at 32, the Bronx-born singer has won nearly 50 music awards, including an MTV VMA, Billboard Music Award, and a BMI Songwriting Award.
00:30He also has a Grammy nod under his belt.
00:32Number four, he's collaborated with mainstream stars like Drake, Nicki Minaj, Marc Anthony, and Usher, who even name-dropped Romeo while coaching on The Voice.
00:41I can't just say Romeo Santos. I just had an incredible record with him as well. You know about that one, right?
00:45Number three, his music has appeared on soundtracks for films, including Sugar and last year's critically acclaimed Blue is the Warmest Color.
00:53Number two, the guy almost had his own show.
00:55Back in 2011, ABC bought a comedy that would have starred Romeo as a young guy who butts heads with his traditional immigrant father.
