00:00Bert, who is the best team in the NFL right now?
00:03The Rams.
00:05Okay.
00:06Yeah.
00:06Is there any conversation?
00:08Like, are the Packers in that conversation?
00:10Is Seattle in that conversation?
00:12I think Seattle's right there.
00:13Like, Seattle, like, has done a really nice job of building the last couple years.
00:18Actually, a huge part of it was, like, the return they got in the trade for Russell Wilson,
00:23where they hit on a bunch of picks.
00:25And so now, like, you look at Jackson Smith and Jake by Charles Cross.
00:28The running backs, they have Walker and Charbonnet.
00:32You know, on defense, Witherspoon and Byron Murphy.
00:36Like, they just kept hitting on draft picks.
00:39And, like, I guess the question would be, like, how Darnold's going to perform when we get to the playoffs.
00:44But he's played pretty well on balance.
00:47And they turned the ball over a bunch against the Rams and still were toe-to-toe with them in L.A.
00:53They play a week from yesterday in Seattle.
00:57So, we'll learn a lot about them there.
01:00I think the Packers, again, like, the Packers, when they put it all together, are really impressive.
01:05You guys, I'm sure, saw it on Sunday against the Bears.
01:09And Jordan Love's starting to play really well.
01:12I think I'm out on the Eagles.
01:15It just doesn't look like that's going to come.
01:17What's going on with Hurts?
01:18Like, is there...
01:19Well, this is what happens when you put too much on him.
01:21Like, that's what it is.
01:23Like, it's like, he can be really productive as a part of your running game and a guy who is, you know, throwing the ball off the running game.
01:33But if you're asking him to drop back and win the game for you, like, that's not really him.
01:37You know, and the Eagles all year, if you've watched them, they've played really well on defense.
01:46But the margin for error isn't the same as it was last year when Saquon Barkley was rushing for 2,000 yards.
01:52They're not as dominant on their offensive line.
01:54They've been without Lane Johnson the last couple weeks, which has really hurt them.
01:58He's one of the most valuable linemen in all of football.
02:02And so, like, the equation for them is a little bit different, where if the offense starts turning the ball over, it's hard to win games that way.
02:11Where it's just your defense.
02:12Because their defense has played great.
02:13But I would say, like, I think the Rams, like, are the likeliest team to come out of the NFC.
02:21And then in the AFC, I'm almost, like, at the point now where I think the team with the highest ceiling might be Houston.
02:30And I know that sounds crazy.
02:33It sounds nuts, right?
02:34It does.
02:35But, like, they have this year.
02:38Who's the best team right now?
02:39I mean, the best team right now, I think, is Denver with the Patriots right there with them.
02:44With Buffalo right there with them.
02:47Like, I think that those, to me, like, as far as, like, when you're talking about the totality of the year,
02:51you know, Buffalo's been a little inconsistent, but I think they've come out of that.
02:56And so, right now, I'd say Buffalo, New England, Denver are probably the most dependable teams where we stand right now.
03:04Houston's the one with the ceiling, though.
03:05Like, Houston's the one where, if Stroud starts to make plays a little bit more consistently,
03:13like, they're relying on rookies in key spots.
03:17Like, their left tackle's a rookie.
03:19Their number two receivers are a rookie.
03:20Their running backs are a rookie.
03:21Their offensive coordinator's a rookie.
03:23You know what I mean?
03:24Like, it's his first year calling plays, Nick Caley.
03:26So, like, if Ursary, like, continues to get better at left tackle, if Higgins continues to be a real threat opposite Nico Collins,
03:35if Marks continues to be a force, which he has been the last few weeks, in Joe Mixon's old spot,
03:43then Stroud starts playing better.
03:44Yeah.
03:45That defense, like, some of the plays they made against the Chiefs were outrageous.
