00:54Recall we mentioned it in our report that there hasn't been any real evidence of the creature actually being in YouTube kids' videos.
01:01Philip DeFranco further pushed that idea that this is all just a hoax and says it is playing off of fearful parents, headline readers, and media that just want clicks.
01:09Philip also points out that police never actually found any connection between the creature and self-harm reports linked to it in the past.
01:16Like often with viral situations like this, things like this start with a kernel of truth.
01:20There is no doubt that there are bad actors out there trying to troll or harass or cyber bully children or just mess with the status quo.
01:27But the wave of headline reading, insert myself into the story as the hero for raising awareness without looking into the situation further, is crazy.
01:35I really want to use this story as an example of when you see something like this, dive further, fact check.
01:40Two, you should be monitoring the content that your child consumes.
01:43YouTube or YouTube Kids or any other service is not a replacement for a parent.
01:47The official Twitter account retweeted Philip's video thanking him for debunking the situation and encouraging parents to flag inappropriate content for them.
01:55To which Philip replies saying he's framing their tweets.
01:57But alright, to Jake Paul because he posted an Instagram story teasing a new video where he and Soulja Boy confront each other.
02:05In the story, JP says that Soulja tried to get physical with him right then and there.
02:09But I guess we'll have to wait and see what really went down when the video drops later today.
02:14I still have my doubts about this fight actually happening and apparently Jake's big bro has his doubts too.
