00:10the Icon took to Instagram to give fans an update on her health and her pending tour.

00:15Madonna thanked fans for their positive energy, prayers, and words of healing.

00:20I'm on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all of the blessings in my life.

00:25My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children.

00:28My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets to my tour.

00:32I also didn't want to let anyone down who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show.

00:39I hate to disappoint anyone.

00:41The hit maker continued,

00:42My focus now is getting my health and getting stronger, and I assure you I will be back as soon as I can.

00:48My current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe.
