00:00Over the weekend, Madonna gave fans an update on her health one month after she was hospitalized for a bacterial infection.

00:07She shared photos embracing her son David and daughter Lourdes and penned a long caption, writing,

00:12Love from family and friends is the best medicine.

00:15One month out of the hospital and I can reflect.

00:17As a mother, you can really get caught up in the needs of your children and the seemingly endless giving.

00:23But when the chips were down, my children really showed up for me.

00:26I saw a side to them I had never seen before.

00:29It made all the difference.

00:30So did the love and support from my friends.
