00:00Hello and welcome to this South Australian Janesweather update for Friday.
00:04We have fairly clear skies, there's just a bit of cumulus in through here
00:08and some cloud coming in from the west as well.
00:11Today is all about the heat.
00:13Here's our heat waves that are up in through here.
00:15We've got extreme fire danger all across here.
00:18Not quite making it into the southeast though.
00:20We've got a strong wind warning if you're on the bays in through there.
00:23That's Friday.
00:24Having a little bit of heat for tomorrow has disappeared.
00:26It's up in the far northeast and there's nothing to worry about on Sunday or Monday.
00:30The next burst of heat comes back from mid next week.
00:33So let's have a look day by day.
00:34What do we expect here?
00:35We've got a trough that is running through here by the end of the day.
00:38So that's the cool change that is right on through Adelaide by the end of it.
00:42The slight risk of showers and thunderstorms later tonight in through there
00:46otherwise all the activity is over in the west.
00:49Have a look at Saturday.
00:50Things are looking fairly quiet but we've got showers and thunderstorms in the southeast
00:53associated with that trough moving through.
00:56And just a little bit of activity up in the north.
00:58Into Sunday, high pressure is sitting in through here.
01:00Let's watch that move eastwards.
01:02So by Monday it is there.
01:04By Tuesday it is out in through here under my head there.
01:07So that's when our warmth comes back because our winds turn northeasterly.
01:11Into Wednesday, a bit of shower and storm activity in the far northeast.
01:15Nothing happening in through the southeast.
01:17Into Thursday we might get a bit of activity.
01:19And Friday is when that is more likely.
01:21But in through that it's more about a heat pattern that we have.
01:25What is that going to add up to?
01:26Not a lot at this time of the year.
01:285 to 10 millimetres.
01:291 to 5 in through here.
01:31If you are under a thunderstorm then yes it can bring a heavier fall.
01:34But generally there's nothing severe out there.
01:36Nothing significant.
01:37Let's have a look at our temperature rollercoaster.
01:39There's 33 today in Adelaide.
01:4126 by tomorrow then 21 by Sunday.
01:44So today just a little bit of cloud around.
01:47That is all.
01:48Tomorrow possible showers in the early morning.
01:50Then it turns sunny.
01:51So it will be one of those strange days where we get the change move through early.
01:55They do bring some showers.
01:56But then sunshine returns and a little bit of warmer weather too.
02:00Down to 21 as we go through Sunday.
02:01And 22 into Monday.
02:03Now clear skies from here.
02:05Temperatures shall be up.
02:0629, 34, 37, 32.
02:09So from Wednesday onwards we're well above 30.
02:12And it remains like that for the rest of the week.
02:14As always said to you, from the long weather to the left.
