BRAVE ZEBRA MUM FENDS OFF LEOPARD IN DRAMATIC SHOWDOWN

A protective zebra mother was filmed fighting off a leopard as it tried to snatch her young foal.
The encounter was captured at Silale Swamp in Tarangire National Park by guide Charles Jackson Magembe from Arusha, Tanzania.
The tense moment unfolded as the leopard lunged toward the baby zebra.
Before it could strike, the mother charged forward with force.
She kicked, pushed, and repeatedly blocked the predator’s attempts.
The leopard circled and tried again, but the determined mother refused to give way.
After several attempts, the big cat backed off.
The zebra mother then calmly walked away with her foal beside her, completely unharmed.
Charles said: “The mission of the leopard to kill a baby zebra was unsuccessful.
“It was not good timing for the Leopard but luckily for a foal.
"You will never be disappointed in the wildness."
