01:06so it seems less surprising she was willing to give one of her vital organs to her best friend.
01:12Everyone has two kidneys, by the way, so you can donate one and live a normal life,

01:19According to TMZ, Selena got the transplant in Chicago back in May while traveling with The Weeknd for his tour.
01:26She was already on a transplant list waiting for a donor as her kidneys were failing long before she ended up being rushed to the hospital for the transplant.
01:34So it's possible her friend stepped in at the last minute to make this life-saving donation.
