00:13Hey guys, it's Ali with your Daily Bieber, and while Justin went on a snowboarding trip with some of his guy friends in Utah,

00:19Selena decided to do her own girl's trip and was seen ice skating with friends in New York.

00:24Although Jelena are taking a little break from each other after their recent airport fight in Van Nuys,

00:28Justin couldn't help but gush about Selena when talking to some fans.

00:33Where'd you guys go for New Year's?

00:35Vegas.

00:36Oh, fantastic, yeah.

00:41Yeah.

00:41But what's the deal with Jelena's recent break?

00:44We're hearing exclusively one of the major things that Selena and Justin agreed on when they got back together

00:49was that they wouldn't live their life in each other's pockets.

00:52They agreed that they would continue to do things separately with their own friends,

00:56and they would sometimes take time apart from their relationship.

00:59Sel and Justin both feel it's not healthy being together 24-7,

01:03and want to be able to trust each other when they're away.

01:06We're told Selena was also happy for Justin to go skiing with his buddies for a few days.

01:10Selena has never felt confident on the slopes,

01:13which is probably why she decided to do some ice skating instead.

01:16Sel and Justin's relationship is still very solid,

01:19and even though they're apart, they're still FaceTiming each other whenever possible.

01:28We're actually hearing that she's annoyed that he's headlining Coachella.

01:32Selena is planning on hitting the festival with friends one of the day's Beyoncé headlines,

01:36and wants to do everything possible to avoid her ex.

01:42but Selena doesn't even want to be in the same area to avoid tabloid headlines

01:46or ruffling feathers with Justin.

01:48To Selena trying to make peace with her mom, Mandy Teefy.

01:51Recall the two had a huge fight and haven't spoken to each other

01:55after Selena revealed she was doing couples therapy with Justin.

01:58Sel and her mom even unfollowed each other on Instagram,

02:01but now Selena is using Mandy as her profile photo.

02:05Selena then posted this photo of her childhood home with the caption,

02:09the home I grew up in from birth to 13.

02:11No one was home when I knocked this time.

02:13I visit this place every chance I get.

02:15In many ways, it very well could have been better than my life today.

02:24including Demi Lovato, Gigi Hadid,

02:28and hasn't bothered to follow her mom back yet.
