00:00The Civil Service Commission, or CSC, approves the five-day wellness leave for qualified officials and government employees.

00:08According to CSC Chairperson Marilyn Barua-Yap, the wellness leave is stated in the Republic Act No. 110360, or the Mental Health Act,

00:18which aims to provide enough rest and to allow the employees to take care of themselves.

00:23The chair also clarified that the wellness leave is different to vacation and sick leaves.
