05:17With all the distractions that she's caused, Tammy needs to get out of my way,
05:21get out of her daughter's way, so that I can help her become the professional dancer that she says she wants to be.

05:29because her reaction to bringing up something that is very awful for her in her life right now.

07:34We're in week seven of this season, and I'm looking to see who is going to be dancing at Nationals.
07:41Nationals is three weeks away, and with everything that's been going on with this team,
07:47I haven't even had a chance to think that far ahead.
07:49So starting this week, I really need to keep my eyes on all of these girls
07:53to see who is ready to have a featured role at Nationals,
07:56and who is capable of helping Project X win its first National Championship.
08:01This week, we will have two solos.
08:05First solo
08:06is going to Ashlyn.

09:12And Kaylee is doing the choreography.

09:26Last season, I choreographed a ballet number, and I was really excited about it.

09:30And then my lead, Audrey, did not make it on stage

13:33It is inspired by the movie Mad Max.
13:37You will be portraying post-apocalyptic soldiers who will go to any length to survive.
13:44There's going to be a lot going on.
13:46It's going to be intense.
13:46It's going to be strong.
13:47And I know Kaylee well enough to know she's going to make this really, really hard because ballet is either right or it is wrong.

13:57Kaylee is a phenomenal ballet teacher.
13:59And I'm happy to have her taking the lead on choreography because she knows what hard work it takes to get to the top.
14:08People who don't grow up and do all this, they have no concept that ballet is so much harder than other forms.
14:13Like, they have no idea that this is super impressive.
14:17I mean, I can imagine wearing those pointe shoes for an extended amount of time.
14:21It starts to hurt your feet.

14:29I have a reputation in the ballet community.
14:31And last year, I set a number on these girls.
14:33That was supposed to be a really big moment for me as a choreographer.
14:36And the version that ended up going on stage was a complete disaster and nothing I was proud of at all.
14:44Audrey injured herself before she went on stage when she was practicing her scorpion.
14:48They all had to learn new parts, and Bellatrix stepped in, but the version of the scorpion that she did on stage, a lot of people do on stage.
14:56But Audrey is totally advanced enough to be able to do the scorpion on point.
15:00But with all the distractions this season, she has lost a lot of technique and a lot of flexibility, so it's really going to be hard for her to get this.
15:07We're not thinking about our technique as much as we can.
15:09Your body was going all over the place, and I think that you need to practice the scorpion at home as much as you can.
15:13You have to be better than you've ever danced on this team, or ever.
15:18I think this is definitely your most important performance on this team by far.
15:21I'm really excited to have this challenge this week because I have to do a scorpion on point.
15:25And as you get older, like, you grow and your muscles start to, like, get harder to, like, stretch.
15:30So I'm going to have to work really, really hard if I'm going to want to even come close to doing a scorpion.
15:35But I do really look up to Miss Kaylee, and I want to make her proud knowing that she's the one who basically taught me ballet.
