The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC/OAK), part of the state conglomerate Rostec, has announced the delivery of a new batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS).
According to the company, all aircraft reportedly underwent ground and flight factory tests before being accepted by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Despite the replenishment, Russia’s Su-34 fleet has suffered significant losses since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. Open-source intelligence — compiled by the Oryx database and other groups that track visually confirmed losses — indicates that by 2025, around 39 Su-34s had been confirmed destroyed in the conflict.
