00:13and rescue crews who worked tirelessly over the weekend to contain the fire at Kuliwong
00:19that broke out on Saturday afternoon and he came offering some further support for the
00:25locals affected with 16 houses lost at Kuliwong.
00:30There's $900 available for locals impacted to help buy some food, perhaps replace some
00:37Christmas presents under the tree and also pay for medication.
00:42The State Government also announcing that those needing medication that may not have their
00:47prescriptions, they will be able to go to a pharmacy and fill any prescription without
00:52actually having that piece of paper on them.
00:55And they're also extending the amount of emergency accommodation for those that have been impacted

01:11There is a strike force Enola that has been announced, local police, the Brisbane Water Police,
01:16saying that initial investigations suggest that it has not been intentionally caused this
01:22fire.
01:23The Chief Commissioner of the RFS, Trent Curtin, says that that is very reassuring for the locals.
01:30What we also know is that the fire that started down by the railway line and moved up that hill
01:34very, very quickly was believed to be from a spot fire from the original fire, so that was
01:39also not a fire believed at this stage to have been started from any deliberate act.
01:43RFS Commissioner Trent Curtin speaking there about the strike force and allaying fears that the
01:50fire at Kuliwong was intentionally lit.
