We remain committed to the idea that holding a protest on Monday, which is obviously the
00:08
anniversary of October 7th, which was a devastating terrorist attack on Israel and has had huge
00:15
ramifications for those that live in Sydney, who are concerned about family, friends or
00:20
community members in that part of the world, is not the right thing to do, hugely unsympathetic
00:27
to those that are going through pain at the moment, and not in keeping or in recognition
00:32
of the fact that yes, there's been protests that have taken place in Sydney, but surely
00:36
one of the other 364 days of the year would be more appropriate.
