00:00All right, be honest. Are you tired of your photos and travel memories just sitting on your phone?
00:04Digital photo frames are an easy way to share and relive these memories instantly. I've tested
00:09the best digital photo frames that you can buy at different price points and sizes that will make
00:14your photos look great no matter where you display them. I've got a digital frame here for everyone
00:19and I know these are going to be great gifts so you can find the best deals for everything linked
00:23below. Our best overall pick, the Aura Aspen. The Aura Aspen is one of the newest digital photo
00:29frames that we recommend. You're looking at a large 11.8 inch 1600 by 1200 screen for just
00:35$230. The Aura Aspen delivers images that are really crisp, vibrant, and its anti-glare screen
00:41also lets you see these pictures from basically any viewing angle which is especially important
00:46when you're placing them in a very bright room. You can sync your photos easily with iCloud and
00:51Google Photos but if you want you can also upload them directly via email which is great for anyone
00:56who doesn't want to deal with apps as much. But if I'm being honest I actually enjoy using it for
01:01keeping up with the latest photos for my family as they've added them over time. The Aspen even
01:06supports 30 second video clips with sound if you want to mix things up. This is also super easy to
01:11set up and control with touch bars on the top and side of the frame so you're not touching the
01:15touchscreen here and getting your grimy oily fingerprints over this which is another really big plus.
01:21The Aspen is held up by a sturdy aluminum stand which lets you switch from portrait to landscape
01:26mode. Unfortunately you cannot wall mount this but besides that this is the most well-rounded
01:31digital photo frame for a lot of people. For as low as $30 when it's on sale the Atatat digital
01:37photo frame offers excellent image quality on its 1080p 8 inch IPS display. You can get this in 7,
01:438, and 10 inch models. Build quality and design is definitely on the cheaper side but if visuals are
01:49what you care about most and you want to stay within a budget this is one of the best picks
01:54under $50. This is pretty easy to set up and use. It's actually one of the only photo frames on our
02:00list that doesn't require any software or app connectivity. You just plug in your memory card
02:05or a USB drive and the Atatat frame handles the rest automatically playing your photos and media.
02:11This makes it perfect for less tech savvy members of your family. You can even play movies or view a
02:15calendar if you wanted those extra features. And then as far as controls we have physical
02:19ones on the back and it also comes with a remote control for Atatat convenience. Simple and
02:25affordable the Atatat is great for when you don't want to mess with apps. The skylight frame is the
02:31perfect Aura alternative for anyone who wants a simple and no fuss way to display their photos
02:36especially for grandparents or again less tech savvy family members. It offers a 1280 by 800 display,
02:43Wi-Fi connectivity, touch screen controls, and even video playback all in a very easy to use package.
02:49The 10 inch model which I have here is a great size while the 15 inch larger version is also
02:54available if you need that bigger display. Uploading and organizing photos is quick and easy from the
02:59skylight app or even via a custom skylight email which I think would be great again for those who
03:04don't want to mess with apps all the time. And thanks to its internal 8 gigabytes of storage,
03:08your images are always accessible even without a Wi-Fi connection. Just know there is a pricey
03:14subscription for some of the in-app features like creating albums, starting a slideshow remotely,
03:19or changing some of the other on-device settings which is why this $140 frame isn't ranked higher
03:24on my list of recommendations. Now for a frame that balances excellent image quality with simplicity,
03:30the skylight is a standout choice among digital photo frames. Then there is the massive Echo Show 21.
03:38The Echo Show 21 is our best big digital photo frame and probably one of my favorite overall
03:44picks. Let me tell you why. Now this probably isn't what most people think of for a photo frame,
03:49but its gorgeous 21 inch 1080p display is perfect for displaying photos even from across the room.
03:55And with its white and black bezels, I think it still looks like a real photo frame. But that's not
04:01all this can do. This is both Amazon's largest and most expensive smart display yet at $399. But it's
04:08also a smart hub, fire TV, smart speaker, and one of my favorite ways for keeping track of all things
04:14in my home thanks to its helpful widgets like a to-do and shopping list, replacing the whiteboard
04:19on my wall from before it. And with the new Alexa AI Plus software, this is also now my favorite AI
04:25smart home assistant with very natural prompts. An Alexa voice remote and wall mounting kit is
04:30included, which supports horizontal and vertical orientation. But the optional swivel stand costs an
04:36additional $125. So if you're on a tighter budget, wall mounting is probably your best bet.
04:42For photo syncing, it's easiest if you already use Amazon Photos to store your images, but you can
04:47also upload select photos or albums via that Photos app if you want. Don't get me wrong, there is something
04:53definitely beautiful about having a photo frame which is exclusively used to show your images.
04:57But for those who want the best multi-purpose display that can do a lot more, this is the one
05:03to get. And be sure to look out for Amazon discounts, especially around Black Friday, because this gets
05:08some pretty awesome deals. If you want a digital photo frame that looks like or almost just like
05:14hanging art on your wall, you should check out the Aura Ink. At $499, this is not cheap, but it's very
05:20unique in that it features e-ink color display technology. You can think of this as a supersized
05:25Kindle, meaning that it uses very little energy and can last up to three months unplugged before
05:31you need to recharge it. That alone is a huge selling feature if you just want to hang this
05:35cleanly on your wall without dangling cables. The big 13.3-inch display comes in a nice frame along
05:41with a large matte border, which makes it look a lot more like a regular picture frame. Now, this isn't
05:46as bright or vivid as digital photo frames, and it can't play videos or music. This also is not
05:51meant to cycle through your photos quickly as it takes time and it eats through your battery life.
05:56But if you're looking for a photo frame that looks very lifelike with very long battery life and you're
06:00happy cycling through your photos at a slower interval, it's very easy to recommend the Aura Ink.
06:06So there are a lot of great options out there, but our team is constantly reviewing the latest
06:11models to keep this list of best digital photo frames up to date. Let me know which one you're
06:15eyeing or if you think there are any other models that I should try out for next time.
06:19If this video helped you out, make sure to subscribe for more buying guides and you can
