00:00I mean, how often do I get what I want?
00:02Every single time.
00:04I am a law roach.
00:11So today I'm carrying my custom Birkin in,
00:15I forgot the name of the pink.
00:16Don't kill me all you Hermes assassins.
00:20What's special about it is that it has Rose Girl hardware
00:24and she matches my Celine Dion t-shirt.
00:28So I have to wear this in honor of the queen, Celine Dion.
00:31So my first item is something I don't think any of us
00:33could live without and it's basically the cell phone.
00:37My screensaver is just a M.
00:39So this M actually represents, in my mind, 100 million.
00:45That is my goal to have 100 million
00:48so that I can really, really, really retire and disappear
00:51so that you can never see or hear from me again.
00:54I also have another one.
00:57So this is funny because I'm on this phone
01:01and sometimes I can't remember how to spell things.
01:03So I'll Google how to spell things on this phone.
01:05So this is the email phone.
01:06This is the research phone.
01:07And this is also, I call this my Facebook phone
01:10because everybody who has this number are people
01:12that's on Facebook who I don't really want to talk to.
01:14I have kind of like a photographic memory
01:16so I can remember things that I see.
01:19But I take a lot of screenshots.
01:21The last thing I screenshot was this Roberto Cavalli
01:24spring summer 26 look 31
01:26because you might see that pop up for one of my clients.
01:29So I guess we want to go into like little things
01:31that are compatible with the phone.
01:33I like the one with the wire
01:34because I like to feel like I'm connected.
01:37But then when I want to not look out of date,
01:41I have the wireless.
01:43And I also have these
01:46because I feel like this is what people wear in the airport
01:49even though I don't care, but I still have them.
01:52Oh, and something else for the phone
01:55is the Meta Ray-Bans.
01:58I actually never used them yet
02:00because this is a new pair
02:01because I tend to lose these
02:02or people tend to walk away with them.
02:06I won't say steal, but these are basically readers.
02:09Really easy to style these.
02:10You just kind of like pop them on
02:12when you want to feel smart
02:14or you want to look smart or dapper
02:16or you know, it's super cool.
02:19The next thing is that I can't live without is,
02:22oh, we'll get to that.
02:25My passport because as you guys know,
02:27I am a stylist and you never know
02:30when somebody's going to call you
02:31and need you to be in another country.
02:33And so I never ever go anywhere without my passport.
02:36I've been blessed to go to around 36, 37 countries in the world.
02:42If someone calls and they have a check, I'll be there.
02:49And with the passport, what I'm also always ready for is
02:53I have dollars, euros, and pounds because I think it is very important
03:03to tip people and to have cash for tips.
03:06Before I became a stylist, I was a bartender
03:08and I lived off the kindness of others.
03:11If you didn't tip me, I would ask for it.
03:13You know, I don't think that's the proper thing to do,
03:14but I also worked at nightclubs in Chicago.
03:17And a lot of people, you know, I just kind of knew them.
03:20So, you know, if they didn't tip me, I would just nicely remind them
03:23that they didn't leave a tip.
03:24And if they still didn't leave a tip,
03:25then when they came back to the bar,
03:27they had to go to another bartender
03:29because I wasn't serving you if you wasn't tipping.
03:30I'm sorry.
03:31It doesn't hurt you to leave a few dollars
03:33for someone who gave you excellent service.
03:36I did give excellent service,
03:37but you know, I also was very cunty
03:39and you didn't leave a tip.
03:41I had to remind you.
03:43So this is the Airman's Constance wallet and ostrich.
03:48So this I have had for a long time.
03:51It was actually a gift.
03:52And I'm so surprised I haven't lost it yet.
03:55Knock on wood or...
03:57But the thing about me when I lose stuff,
03:59I don't really care.
04:01I care, especially if it's a gift.
04:02But if I lose money or something,
04:04I always think that the person who found it really needed it.
04:07And if I lost it,
04:08then I probably really didn't need it the way they do.
04:10So I don't have any vices.
04:11I don't drink a lot.
04:14I don't do drugs.
04:15I buy burkes.
04:17Kill me.
04:18What I did have in there that was really important was
04:21I wrote myself a note.
04:23Whatever day it was, the day in equal triple nines,
04:27we would add them up.
04:29And so they said that was a good day to like manifest
04:33and to write things down.
04:34So I wrote nine things that I wanted to manifest.
04:38I'll read a couple.
04:39Perfect mental health and clarity.
04:41Win a hundred million dollars in the lottery.
04:43So we'll be back to that.
04:44See how things are reoccurring.
04:46Peace and happiness for my family.
04:49Own homes in Chicago, Paris, and an island by the ocean.
04:54The rest are really personal, but I try to keep this on me
04:57at all times because I do believe that it helps you vibrate into the universe.
05:03And when that vibration is high, you are blessed with abundance.
05:06And the key to that is to be grateful and to have gratitude.
05:10So yeah, I'm so happy I was still there.
05:13Because again, I like to lose stuff.
05:15We should do beauty products.
05:16So these are my fragrances.
05:18Tom Ford, Oud Boehringer, and Bioreto Sellier.
05:22Next is this Chanel lip balm and it's called Hydra Beauty.
05:28And I just kind of discovered this very recently and I actually love it.
05:35What else do we have?
05:37Do we go through this bag and you're like,
05:38do I really just keep this stuff in here?
05:40Just kind of weird in a way.
05:42Oh, I forgot about technology.
05:44So people are going to probably laugh at me, but I don't care.
05:46Everybody always have their MacBook.
05:48And I'm like, yeah, I got a Dell now.
05:50Now what? I'm different.
05:51I don't use it often, but I am obsessed with checking my credit score.
05:55And so I have all that saved on here.
05:57I want to know what's going on with my credit.
05:58And I also want to know if you scamming vultures have penetrated
06:03any of my information and you trying to buy a house in my name.
06:06I'm going to know.
06:08Oh, I still have more beauty products.
06:10I am obsessed with having soft skin, especially feet.
06:13I don't have a partner.
06:14So I don't know who I'm playing footsies or rubbing feet with.
06:17But when I do and it happens, I'll be ready because I have Vaseline.
06:21Every black household in America has cocoa butter and has Vaseline.
06:25I don't know.
06:26It's like gingerbread.
06:26I think we think it's medicinal in a way, but
06:29and mine happens to be bedazzled.
06:33So again, luxury, darling.
06:35Let's talk about what I'm reading.
06:39So I'm currently reading Anastasia's book, Raising Brows.
06:43I love this woman.
06:45And I went to the book launch in LA and the moderator was Oprah.
06:50Oprah looked at me and she looked down and she was like,
06:53Oh my God, he's the best.
06:56I did.
06:56She said, Laurel's just in the building.
06:59And I just like, it was a, I went, I wanted to die that Oprah knew my name.
07:05Next is my own book.
07:07How to build a fashion icon.
07:09Notes on confidence from the world's only image architect.
07:12And I am the world's only image architect because I trademarked that.
07:16And if you use it, I will sue you.
07:18The title of the book, How to Build a Fashion Icon was kind of
07:22hiding the medicine in ice cream, because I wanted you to think that it was about
07:26styling tips and what looks on your body and how to use what is not.
07:30It's all about once you find your ultimate confidence that you're able to do whatever it is
07:36that you want to do.
07:37And that's what it's about.
07:39I have become a victim of the TikTok shop.
07:44Like we all have.
07:45Like I just, I held out for as long as possible,
07:47but I actually bought these glasses on the TikTok shop and then from a brand called Desi.
07:52I love an oversized frame.
07:54Look at that.
07:55You see that?
07:56And I think these were like $40.
07:58Real Testament style is to be able to mix high and low, right?
08:02You would never know.
08:03You would think this was another brand.
08:06That has two names and it was a guy and he was really successful and really handsome.
08:10But these aren't.
08:11These are from the TikTok shop.
08:15They got me too, y'all.
08:17Even though I tried to like, I'm not buying nothing from the TikTok shop.
08:20Then here we are with them on my face.
08:23To be quite honest, I'm shopping for my estate sale.
08:26So I'm shopping for when I die and you guys get a chance to buy all this stuff.
08:31Because I love estate sales and auctions.
08:32And I'm like, you know what?
08:34Buy a estate sale is going to be fucking amazing.
08:36I'm doing this for you, really.
08:37Like I'm spending all my money so I can die.
08:40So that you can have an opportunity to own all this stuff at great prices, you know?
08:44So should we get into snacks?
08:46I think gum is like the easiest snack, right?
08:49I just love the way it smells.
08:51I don't know.
08:51It's also kind of like a chic little box.
08:53Remind me of Pucci in a way.
08:55I don't know.
08:55Everything has to remind me of something fashion.
08:57Oh, wait.
08:58I forgot this.
08:59Beauty stuff.
09:00So this is my go-to.
09:02I like to moisturize at night and then wake up and kind of let it go.
09:06I think I got that from, it might have been Selma Hayek, who said that her grandmother taught her that.
09:11This company is named after me.
09:13La Roche Posse, if you didn't know that, La Roche.
09:17That's the French way I'm pronouncing my name.
09:19In case you didn't know.
09:20And back to snacks.
09:24This is my favorite snack.
09:27Ruffles, but it has to be cheddar cheese and sour cream.
09:30And this is what I like to eat with caviar.
09:32I can't have caviar in my bag because it's perishable, but it is now on my rider.
09:37Yeah, Vogan, you didn't have my rider because I didn't have caviar.
09:40I had the chips.
09:41I brought my own chips.
09:42If you've been bringing caviar, this is my favorite snack.
09:44But caviar, it has to be a caviar.
09:47The next snack that I'm looking to snack on is a beautiful boy.
09:56Rich, tall, successful.
10:00That's going to be my next snack.
10:03And the last thing is not so glamorous, but it is needed is my inhaler.
10:07I had asthma really bad when I was growing up and it kind of like went away.
10:10But this I keep, I think as more of a mental thing.
10:13Not as glamorous, but the color is kind of fab.
10:16Look at that.
10:17You know, you always got to find the beauty in everything.
10:21And I actually have a few gummy bears that kind of fell out the back.
10:27That was just in the bottom of my bag.
10:29But I will not be eating these.
10:35And there's one more thing that is the most important thing that's in my bag.
10:39What is the world?
10:43All right, now.
10:44Thank you Vogue for watching me, LawRoach.
11:00And what's in my bag.
11:06And what's in my bag.
