00:04after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held talks with leaders of France, Germany and the UK.
00:10Zelenskyy says the plan has been cut from 28 to 20 points,
00:14though there is still no agreement on any territorial concessions to Russia.
00:20Kiev remains under pressure from Washington to accept a peace deal
00:24that has been viewed as favourable to Moscow.
00:27An earlier version of the US-backed plan proposed handing full control of the Donbass to Russia,
00:33even though Kremlin forces have not managed to capture it after nearly four years of war.
00:38Zelenskyy has maintained that any change to Ukraine's borders must be decided by a public referendum.
00:44Ukraine is currently facing one of its hardest periods in the war.
00:47Russian troops are advancing in the east and cities and towns are enduring hours of power cuts
00:53amid heavy strikes on the energy grid and other critical infrastructure.
00:57US President Donald Trump's envoys Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner
01:01brought a revised plan to Moscow last week before holding days of talks with Ukrainian officials in Miami.
01:08Those discussions ended on Saturday with no breakthrough.
