00:00Have you got what it takes to make it all the way to our final question and join the 1% Club?
00:12Anyone has a chance to win? Because this quiz isn't about how much you know,
00:15it's about how your brain really works, as all our questions are about logic and common sense.
00:19So who will make it to the end and answer a question only 1% of the country can get right?
00:23We're about to find out, but before we do, tonight and every night this week, there's a twist.
00:28If no one wins the big money on tonight's show, the entire prize pot will roll over to tomorrow's show,
00:34which means by the end of the week, someone could win up to £500,000.
00:42Let's play the 1% Club Rollover.
00:48And hoping to win tonight are 100 players. Hello.
00:53Okay, as ever, give me a cheer.
00:55If you think you are going to do well this week and may even make it to the end of the week.
01:01Gentleman at the top there, what's your name?
01:03Craig.
01:03You're feeling confident, obviously, because you think you could last the whole week in this.
01:06I normally get at least 90% of the questions right, so...
01:09I normally get the 90% question right.
01:12But you usually get to the 1% question, do you?
01:14And have you got any tactics tonight?
01:15No, I think I'm normally quite good at picking someone out from the 100 that will get quite far.
01:20Pray tell. Who will it be tonight?
01:22Have you got a mirror?
01:22Do you think anyone will do badly?
01:27Probably 10% of the room.
01:29Now, do you want to know who will do badly tonight?
01:31Yes.
01:31Have you got a mirror?
01:32Yes.
01:33I'm joking.
01:35Okay, now, don't forget, you can play along at home if you want.
01:38All you have to do is download the app.
01:39Okay, before we ask our first question, here's how the 1% Club Rollover works.
01:43Every night of this week, the 1% Club is back, and it's bigger than ever.
01:50The 1% Club Rollover has the same rules as the regular show, except that if no one wins, all the money in the prize pot rolls over to tomorrow's show.
01:58And it's not just the money that rolls over.
02:00Any contestant who gets as far as the 1% question will be invited back to compete in tomorrow's show too, so winners can keep on winning.
02:08Right, let's get on with it. It's time for our first question.
02:21So this is one that 90% of our survey got right.
02:24Let's see how you do.
02:25In this two-dimensional puzzle, which of these shapes can't you use to fill this square exactly without leaving any gaps or overlapping any pieces?
02:37And your time starts now.
02:42How did you lose, Daddy?
02:44I couldn't put the small shapes into the big shapes.
02:55OK, your time is up.
03:04Let's see who's lights stay on and are still in the game, and how many people are out.
03:07OK, we lost 11 of you on that one. Let's have a look at the answer.
03:30It is B.
03:32There's the graphic to prove it.
03:33So, unfortunately, the first person to go out on the rollover week is Janet Woodhead.
03:38Janet, where are you?
03:40I'm here.
03:40I knew I would.
03:42Why did you know you would?
03:43I always get the first one wrong, and then I romp through the rest of them.
03:49Right.
03:49Do you know what I mean?
03:50You do know the rules, though, right?
03:53That's it now. There's no romping.
03:55Have you been on TV before?
03:57Yep.
03:58What have you been on?
03:58I romped Wife of the Week.
04:00Wife of the Week?
04:01Yeah, I'm in the 90s.
04:03Well, how old are you now?
04:05Oh, the 1990s. I'm so sorry.
04:08I don't remember Wife of the Week. What was that?
04:10Well, it was a bit like Mr and Mrs, and you had to answer questions.
04:12Oh, that's it. Give me a reference point that's even older.
04:15OK.
04:16And then, at the end of it, I had to make a bed up, along with some others.
04:20Sorry.
04:21You're telling me there was a TV show called Wife of the Week, and you're, to prove yourself
04:26to be Wife of the Week, you had to make some beds.
04:28Yeah.
04:29I'm 90% appalled and 10% going, that sounds really good, tell me.
04:33Did you win anything?
04:34I'm all in 10.
04:38Wow. Incredible.
04:41Well, never mind. At least you're used to winning very little.
04:45Listen, unlucky Janet.
04:46So, there are 89 people still left in the game, and the £1,000 of everyone who got
04:50the question wrong now goes into the prize pot.
04:52Let's see what that's done to the total.
04:53APPLAUSE
04:56£11,000.
05:01Right, it's time for the 80% question.
05:04So, this is a question that 80% of the people we asked managed to get right.
05:07Let's see how you get on with this one.
05:10In a secret code, each letter of a word is replaced by another letter.
05:14Which of the planets below would be written as G-I-W-N in the secret code?
05:20Your time starts now.
05:23Would have made writing this show easier if they'd have included Uranus.
05:29LAUGHTER
05:29OK, your time is up. Let's see if you've got it right.
05:47Right, we lost five of you on that one. Let's have a look at the answer.
06:07It's A, Mars.
06:09All you need to do is spot that Mars is the only option with four letters.
06:12So, we've lost Angela Frawley. Where are you, Angela?
06:16Yeah.
06:16You sound like a woman who's very unhappy.
06:18I'm really annoyed at myself.
06:20What would you have done with the money?
06:22It's changed every week. I've thought about it.
06:24I wanted a ski chalet or I'll spend it on the kids or go looking at...
06:28I'm really into bridges, so I wanted to...
06:31What are you talking about? How can you be into bridges?
06:35There's some really beautiful bridges, like Bristol.
06:38Geoff, Kevin.
06:40Listen, it's difficult. Under the pressure, it's very hard.
06:43Let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
06:47£16,000.
06:50We are on to the 70% question.
06:53Let's take a look at this one.
06:55Lily is sitting next to Twinkle.
07:00Twinkle has hooves.
07:02Chaucer has no fur.
07:03Which animal is Bob?
07:06And your time starts now.
07:07OK, your time is up.
07:33Let's see who got it right.
07:34Wow, that was a massacre.
07:59We lost 21 people there.
08:01Let's have a look at the answer.
08:02It's A, the dog.
08:04Twinkle has hooves, so it must be the goat.
08:06Chaucer has no fur, so it must be the parrot.
08:08Lily can now only be the cat, so Bob must be the dog.
08:12We lost 21 people there, including Michelle Walters.
08:15Yeah.
08:16What did you put?
08:17I put D.
08:18I wasn't sure between A and D, and I just couldn't convince myself to put A.
08:21You knew it was one of the outer ones.
08:23Yeah, but I think Bob just sounds like a cat instead of a dog.
08:26I don't think that's how logic works.
08:28Michelle, unlucky.
08:31Someone else who we lost there is John Hope.
08:33How you doing, Lee?
08:34What did you put?
08:35Me.
08:36I just lost it.
08:36He looks like a bob to me.
08:38You all went with what they look like.
08:41If I saw that, I wouldn't go, he looks like a bob.
08:43Do you know what I'd do?
08:44I'd go, he looks like a parrot.
08:45That'll do.
08:45What do you do, Bob?
08:47John, sorry, Bob.
08:48I've got the cat in my brain.
08:49What do you do, Bob?
08:50Well, you know, lick me on balls and then poo in the garden.
08:53Oh, sorry.
08:53That was your cat, wasn't it?
08:54What do you do, John?
08:55Retired firefighter.
08:57Oh, OK.
08:57And retired kiss-a-gram.
08:59You were?
09:00Oh, yeah.
09:00In the 80s.
09:01A kiss-a-gram, really?
09:03Yeah.
09:03What did you dress as?
09:04Guerrilla, policeman, vicar.
09:06Did you do a bit of an act first, like you pretended it was something real?
09:09Yeah, always.
09:10You know, if I went in there, it was a policeman, for instance.
09:12Yeah, what's that?
09:13That's scary.
09:14Yeah, more care about 18th, 21st or 30th birthdays and just go up to them and say,
09:18well, I've got you down as a speeding or whatever.
09:21You've been a really naughty person.
09:22That's it.
09:23But I think that's the kick game.
09:26Well done.
09:27Unlucky, John.
09:28Let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
09:32We're on £37,000.
09:36It's time for the 60% question.
09:39Let's take a look at it.
09:42Which of the options can go before all the words below to make four new things?
09:48OK, your time starts now.
10:12OK, your time is up.
10:21Right, let's see who got it right.
10:22OK, we've lost 15 people.
10:45Let's have a look at the answer.
10:46It is C, fire guard, fire engine, fire station, fire wood.
10:52Someone who got it wrong is Joe Ingram.
10:54Oh, mate.
10:55Oh, lights were shining brightest and I folded like a deck of cards.
10:59You've got a lot of metaphors going on in one sentence there.
11:04What made you apply?
11:05I was just around my granny's house one day.
11:07OK, I like any story that starts like that.
11:09We were watching it and then normally I'd do all right, so they were kind of at me telling
11:14me to go for it.
11:15So I kind of applied for it as a laugh and the next thing I knew I was sat here.
11:18What, there was nothing in between?
11:21Did you have a blackout and then you've just woken up again and I can't believe it, I've
11:25woken up and I'm in here looking at you?
11:27Did you slightly think you'd be here all week with a new rollover format?
11:30You knew?
11:30No, no, if I got to 30 and had me pass, I was gone.
11:33Are you going to go with your grand?
11:35Yeah.
11:35What would you have done with the money?
11:36Go on holiday, buy a Lego set, something like that.
11:40Just say, I think you're the most indifferent person we've ever had on the show.
11:45I don't know, go on holiday, buy some Lego, something like that.
11:47Yeah, I didn't even want to be on.
11:49I was at my grand's and the next minute I'm here, I don't really want to be here.
11:52I thought it was tipping point.
11:54I'm not really interested.
11:56Okay, unlucky Joe.
11:57Let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
12:0252,000 pounds.
12:04So it's time for a quick break.
12:05We've lost 52 people here already.
12:07Hope you're doing okay at home and don't forget you can play along on the app.
12:10After the break, we'll be moving close to seeing if anyone here can answer the 1% question.
12:14See you in a bit.
12:17Welcome back to the 1% Club rollover.
12:28We started off with 100 people and now we are down to 48.
12:31The person who does best here tonight could be going home with up to £100,000.
12:35And remember, anyone who gets as far as the 1% question will be invited back for tomorrow's
12:43show regardless of if they get it right or not.
12:45So, well done to everyone who's still in the game and from now on, we're going to give
12:49you the option to pay for a pass to the next question.
12:52And if you do, your £1,000 will be transferred to the prize pot.
12:55However, if you get as far as the 30% question without using your pass, you'll get the chance
12:59to take your £1,000 and leave the game.
13:02Right.
13:03It's time for the 50% question.
13:04Which of the options can be rotated and put in the gap so spots are next to spots, curved
13:14lines are next to curved lines and horizontal lines are next to horizontal lines?
13:19OK, your 30 seconds starts now.
13:25Welcome to Domino's for Lunatics.
13:49OK, your time is up.
13:54Let's see if you've got it right.
14:12Right, we lost five people there and eight people used their pass.
14:15Let's have a look at the answer.
14:16It is C. There it is.
14:20So, we have lost Tracey Knights.
14:22Hi.
14:23Oh, Tracey.
14:24What happened?
14:25I forgot I had a pass as well.
14:27You would have used it had you remembered?
14:28Yeah.
14:29OK, never mind, Tracey.
14:30What did you put?
14:31D, I think.
14:32Just a wild guess, was it?
14:33Yeah, just guessed at the end.
14:34OK, you even guessed what you put because it was actually B.
14:36It's written down here.
14:38Unlucky, Tracey.
14:39Somebody who didn't know but has used their pass is Caroline Kyle.
14:42Kierley.
14:42What do you do, Caroline?
14:44I'm a senior childcare practitioner.
14:46OK, what did you do in your spare time, Caroline?
14:48I like writing little bits of poetry.
14:50OK.
14:51What kind of poetry did you do?
14:53Just rhyming stuff.
14:54I know what poetry is, yeah.
14:56Have you got any examples of this poetry you can give us?
14:59Yeah, well, I wanted some fish, some tropical fish,
15:02so my husband bought me some fish and...
15:04That doesn't rhyme, that's just the same words.
15:06And I named one Feisty because he was trying to dig his way out of the bag
15:10as I was putting him into the tank.
15:11So I wrote this little poem about him.
15:14So Feisty was a lovely fish with gills of gold and a tail that went swish.
15:19And he went on this little adventure and he jumped out the tank
15:21and he went through puddles and went to see all the lights in the town.
15:24You gave up with the rhyming words quite quickly, though, didn't you?
15:27I've got it in my bag, but it took a long time.
15:32Thank you very much for that, Caroline.
15:33Are you still with us?
15:35Let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
15:36£65,000.
15:43OK, it's time for the 45% question.
15:47Let's have a look at it.
15:49What is the only letter of the alphabet
15:51that does not appear in the sentence below?
15:54And your time starts now.
15:55What is the only letter of the alphabet that does not appear in the sentence below?
16:25OK, your time is up.
16:29Joke's plural.
16:30Someone's optimistic.
16:32OK, let's see whose lights are still on.
16:34Right, we lost ten people and nine people used their pass.
16:56Let's have a look.
16:58It's G, the only letter missing.
17:01We have lost Julie Ralph.
17:03Hello, Julie.
17:03Hiya.
17:04Oh, no, what did you put?
17:05Well, I got a K, so I put K.
17:07Oh, you were close to G.
17:09It's not that far away from K, is it?
17:10I should have started an A, shouldn't I?
17:11Well, I don't know.
17:12I have all those different systems.
17:14What do you do, Julie?
17:16I'm retired now.
17:17I was a patent attorney.
17:19A what?
17:19A patent.
17:20He ate patent.
17:21Patent.
17:22Not patent.
17:23Why is it not?
17:23What's the difference between a patent and a patent?
17:25Patent's the verb.
17:26Listen.
17:28This is just a bit of fun.
17:30Not a grammar lesson.
17:32Could you not have had a question with nouns and verbs in it?
17:34I would have got that.
17:35You wouldn't, because you'd have still started at Z.
17:37LAUGHTER
17:38I hate to ask this, Julie, but what would you have done with the money?
17:42I thought I'd just spend the grand on pickled onion crisps,
17:45but then, last week, I was at the doctor's, had a blood test,
17:49and I've got borderline high cholesterol.
17:51Did he literally say,
17:52your blood smells of pickled onions?
17:54You don't mean the monster munch ones?
17:56No, no, proper ones.
17:57He said that like, that's the devil's one.
17:59No, no, that's the verb, not the noun.
18:02LAUGHTER
18:02OK, well, listen, unlucky, Julie.
18:06Let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
18:08We're on £78,000.
18:13So we lost ten of you there and nine people passed,
18:15which means we have 33 players left in the game.
18:18And now it's time for the 40% question.
18:24You are playing rock, paper, scissors with a friend
18:28and realise that they are just repeating the different hand gestures
18:32in alphabetical order.
18:34If you have just been defeated playing your scissors,
18:38what should you play next time to win?
18:42OK, your time starts now.
18:45We'll be right after.
18:52Bye.
18:52Bye.
18:54MUSIC
19:15OK, your time is up. Right, let's see who got it right.
19:18MUSIC
19:23Right, we lost nine people and five people used their pass.
19:39Let's have a look at the answer.
19:41It's rock. Your scissors could only have lost to rock,
19:44which means your friend must be playing scissors next time
19:47and only rock can defeat scissors.
19:49Somebody who got that wrong is Caitlin Cross.
19:52Hiya. I have to ask. And are you?
19:54I am, Cross. I got it wrong, yes, Luke.
19:56No, I meant are you Caitlin? Yeah.
19:58What did you put? Scissors.
20:00And you didn't use your pass? Well, I thought I were right, clearly.
20:03Yeah. What would you have done if you had won the money?
20:06So I've got four chickens. Have you?
20:08And you can buy arms for chickens. No, you can't.
20:10And I'm going to customise them because I live on a council estate.
20:13I wanted one with a can of Foster's, one with a can of Stella,
20:16one with a Richmond, and then one with some boxing gloves.
20:18Can I just... I feel like there's four different stories
20:20going on in the same story, though.
20:22First of all, what do you mean you can buy arms for chickens?
20:25So they wear them as a necklace and they've got, like, arms next to them
20:29and they make them look like little T-Rexes. Right.
20:32So I'm going to spend a bit extra and get them customised
20:35so they blend into my estate. Right.
20:37Is it a bit of a tougher state, this?
20:39Yeah.
20:40OK. I'm surprised the chickens would survive, then, if I'm going to be honest.
20:43We've got a cat that tries to hunt them,
20:45so I think this will scare them off a bit.
20:47When you say a cat, do you mean a normal cat or a cat
20:49who's got arms holding a rifle? A normal cat.
20:51A normal cat. OK. Listen, unlucky Caitlyn.
20:53Right, let's see what that's done to the prize putt.
20:59£89,000.
21:01APPLAUSE
21:03Right, let's move on to the 35% question.
21:06APPLAUSE
21:09This model is made up of three 4x2 bricks
21:12and three 2x2 bricks.
21:14How many studs in total are not visible?
21:17OK, you have 30 seconds and your time starts now.
21:20répl nodig,
21:24Ugly bearingوا pas padre
21:25There they go,
21:27there we go too,
21:28We also have the protection of all stuff,
21:29and we didn't buy off.
21:31They've got several you can buy음,
21:32BackMD 1,
21:33click and subscribe to them,
21:35Skillshare mentioned and Skype.
21:37If you liked the magic of photos,
21:38소 of theseux bricks,
21:40ride them with thearies,
21:41Rachel said they had to take the clapping mindset,
21:42which is collaboratively considered learning
21:44by Peter Wesson.
21:45If any other jobs could always report
21:46on organise a tiny Morrison view of
21:48OK, your time is up.
21:52Right, let's see how you got it right and how many people are out.
22:14We lost nine more, though. Let's have a look at the answer.
22:17It's 16. There are 36 studs in total and you can only see 20,
22:21so there are 16 you can't see.
22:23So that means that we've only got 15 people left in the game
22:26and only five passes, which is very low at this stage.
22:30It's the first day of a rollover week where we're seeing how far people can go.
22:33I'm wondering if anyone can make it to the end of this show.
22:36We've got Leo Beardmore out. Leo, what did you put?
22:40I put just the bottom ones. I forgot to put the top four.
22:44Ah, so did you put... You put 12? Yeah.
22:47What do you do, Leo? I'm a barista.
22:50The lights aren't very good here, but you look like one of those people
22:52that's got a beard there but no moustache.
22:54Have you got a moustache? I did, but my razor went a bit wrong this morning, so...
22:58So you've just got the beard... It's ironic because your name's Beardmore
23:02and you haven't got much more. What made you apply, Leo?
23:06Erm, well, I watch it every week with my mum and dad and everything
23:09and then they said, obviously, go on. Yeah.
23:11So I did, but I also need advice on pranks.
23:14I'm in a prank war with one of my colleagues at work.
23:17OK. And she's got the upper hand.
23:18What's she done to you? Erm, made T-shirts for the staff to wear with my face on.
23:23And you want to get your own back on her? Yeah.
23:25What have you done to her? I do rude pictures on the top of her coffees in the morning.
23:31What kind of rude pictures? Erm, rude ones.
23:34What, like anatomy? Yeah, yeah.
23:37Like yours or hers? Do you do it on the lid?
23:41No, like on the foam. On the foam? With the chocolate, yeah.
23:44What are you using as a pen? You're not, are you?
23:49You're not just doing, like, an imprint.
23:52You're not, like, just literally getting the coffee going...
23:58It's a coffee.
24:00Yeah, so I think what I've said there is, er, stick your willy in a coffee.
24:04So...
24:06OK, let's...
24:10Let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
24:15£95,000.
24:17Right, time for a quick break.
24:18Well done to everyone still in the game.
24:20We'll see you in a bit when someone here could win up to £100,000.
24:35Welcome back to the 1% Club rollover.
24:37We are very nearly at the point where we will discover who our winner will be.
24:40And remember, anyone who gets as far as the 1% question will be invited back for tomorrow's show regardless.
24:46As a reward, any contestant who hasn't played their pass and still has their £1,000 now has a choice.
24:50Play on for the big money in the prize pot, or you can take your £1,000 and leave the quiz right now.
24:55So first of all, let's see which players still have their £1,000.
25:00So just five of you, which is quite low.
25:02Those of you with your lights on, you can take your money and leave the show if you want.
25:05Please make your decision now.
25:08MUSIC
25:09So just one of you have decided to take your £1,000 and appropriately named Louis Goodwin.
25:27Louis Goodwin. It is a Goodwin, isn't it, Louis?
25:29It is, yeah.
25:30How old are you, Louis?
25:3119.
25:32What are you going to spend it on?
25:33I'm looking at going to drama school.
25:35Are you?
25:36So it will go towards that.
25:37What did you think you would do tonight?
25:38Did you always plan to get this far and get out?
25:41Yeah, I kind of said if I got this far, I'd just take the grand.
25:44You didn't fancy staying with us all week to promote your drama career?
25:47No.
25:48I'm only backstage anyway, so there's nothing to promote.
25:50Do you want to be a cameraman?
25:51No.
25:52OK.
25:53Just trying to get you a job, mate.
25:55OK.
25:56Listen, well done, Louis.
25:57You've just won £1,000.
25:58Congratulations.
26:00Right.
26:01So the rest of you have decided to play on.
26:03Let's see if that gamble will pay off and if any of you can go all the way and join the
26:071% Club.
26:08And remember, if you still get your £1,000, you can pay for a pass to the next question.
26:13Right.
26:14It's time for the 30% question.
26:15Let's take a look.
26:16If you follow these instructions, what word are you left with?
26:23OK, your 30 seconds starts now.
26:26Let's take a look.
26:27Let's take a look.
26:28It starts now.
26:29Go, go, go, go.
26:41Check this out.
26:43OK, time is up. Let's see who got it right.
27:13OK, we lost three of you there. Let's have a look at the answer.
27:18It is spring. OK, we lost three people, including Kelly Shores.
27:22What did you put, Kelly? I just couldn't make a word, so I just left it.
27:25You just left it blank. Yeah. What do you do, Kelly?
27:28So I work in Morrisons, but I'm also a qualified massage therapist
27:32and accountant. You do massage therapy? Yeah.
27:34In Morrisons? No. All right. Not at the deli? No. OK.
27:39I'm very stiff and tight around my shoulders. What would you recommend?
27:43Don't come to me. Don't come to you if I've got bad shoulders, you mean?
27:47Yeah. Is that your suggestion? Yeah.
27:50All right. What if I need some cheap beans? Go, Sasko.
27:53Don't even advertise Morrisons.
27:55Unlucky Kelly. Right, let's see. Well, that's done to the prize pot.
27:59It's done nothing because everyone had already used their pass.
28:04So no change in the prize pot. OK, there are 11 people remaining
28:09and four people with passes.
28:10We are at the 25% stage now.
28:14Let's take a look.
28:17If all the circles and squares which are touching merge together
28:21to create a single triangle, and all the squares and triangles
28:25which are touching merge together to create a single circle,
28:29which shape is there the most of?
28:31Your time starts now.
28:33Now.
28:34Now.
28:34Now.
28:36Now.
28:36OK, your timer's up. Right, let's see who got it right.
29:06Right, we lost four people. Let's have a look at the answer.
29:24It is the star. There's the graphic to prove it.
29:28And Jake Cole, you got it right. Hi, Lee. What do you do, Jake?
29:31I'm a project manager on the railway. Oh, are you?
29:33You're quite young. Older than I look, mate. I'm 29.
29:36A bit younger than I look. I was going to say.
29:38You did get that one, right? It was 50-50. Correct.
29:41Jake, what made you apply?
29:43My mum went on the Price is Right in the 1990s and won pretty much everything.
29:48Did she? She won a holiday to Hawaii, San Francisco, Bangkok,
29:52just through putting a golf ball in a hole from about ten yards.
29:54Oh, right, so you think you've topped Trump during the quiz show?
29:57Possibly. Probably not by prizes, but in terms of difficulty of quiz, yeah.
30:00Yeah. Listen, you're still with us, Jake.
30:02Anyone waiting to see how you get on? Yeah, my mates are.
30:05So I have a friend that has a tattoo of your face on his left bum cheek.
30:09No, he doesn't. 100%.
30:11So where does this fit in with what you're going to do?
30:13So part of the intention of getting him that tattoo, having lost a bet,
30:15we tried to get him the Preston North End logo, he's a Blackburn fan.
30:18That was too intricate for the time that we had.
30:20So we thought, well, he'd applied for the 1% Club last year,
30:23didn't get on, you're his favourite comedian,
30:25so let's get him a tattoo of your face,
30:27thinking that that would definitely get him on this series,
30:29and then he bottled the application.
30:31He bottled it after that? So I said, I'll come on instead.
30:33I won't drop his name, Matt.
30:35And if I win, I will join him with a tattoo.
30:38Not that I've got any so far. Sorry, of my face? Indeed.
30:41On your buttock? Correct.
30:42Well, why don't we just change it? Why don't you put your buttock on my face?
30:45LAUGHTER
30:47Actually, forget that.
30:49Right, let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
30:54£97,000.
30:58So we lost four of you there, no one passed,
31:00which means we have seven players left in the game
31:03and are down to the 20% question.
31:08Let's have a look at it.
31:10What is the lowest number of friends that Charlie can invite over
31:15to share this sushi platter equally
31:17so each person present receives an odd number of pieces?
31:21Your time starts now.
31:23Your time starts now.
31:24Churches that the are around us!
31:25You can now go to age less than 30
31:30OK, your time is up. Let's see who got it right.
32:00So, we've lost four people and one person used their pass.
32:15Let's have a look at the answer.
32:18It's three. There are 20 pieces of sushi.
32:20If Charlie invites three friends, there will be four people,
32:23so they will get five pieces each.
32:26Somebody who didn't know it but used their pass
32:28and they're still with us is Bex Browning.
32:30Hello, Bex.
32:31Did you think you were going to be down to the final three people?
32:33Well, I hoped so but you never know, do you?
32:35It just depends on the questions.
32:37I read it three times and my brain just would not compute
32:41so I just thought, you know what, let's just use the pass.
32:43Play safe. Yeah, good idea.
32:44Well, that's what the pass is for.
32:45What do you do, Bex?
32:46I'm a driving instructor.
32:47Ah, OK.
32:49Any other jobs or have you always been a driving instructor?
32:51No, I was a head housekeeper prior to that in a hotel.
32:53Oh, OK.
32:54Yeah, that was fun.
32:55What kind of fun?
32:56Well, you just never know what you're going to come across
32:58when you go into the rooms when people check out.
33:00Oh, do tell.
33:02Found numerous explicit toys, shall we say?
33:06Let's do say it.
33:08Without saying them, can you describe the shape of them?
33:10Small, rounded, other ones which are about that big
33:15look a bit like a bullet.
33:16Oh, yeah, I've got that one.
33:17I've heard of that one.
33:18Yeah.
33:19What do you do with them?
33:20I've been them.
33:21Oh!
33:22Yeah, right.
33:24Listen, good luck to you, Bex.
33:27You haven't got your pass, but you're still with us.
33:29Now, at the beginning of this show, there was a cocky fellow
33:31called Craig Bain who said to me, if you want to see the winner,
33:34get me a mirror.
33:35Yeah?
33:36And he's down to the last three.
33:38I was mocking him before, but he's actually down to the last three.
33:41APPLAUSE
33:44Are you feeling good?
33:45So-so.
33:46Have you started spending this money now in your head, is it?
33:48No.
33:49No.
33:50I need to ask the wife first.
33:51OK.
33:52I loved it.
33:53At the beginning, you were very cocky, but now your eyes are going,
33:55I wasn't expecting to get this far.
33:57But listen, you did say to us, Craig, that you were quite good
33:59at judging other people's chances.
34:01There's only three of you in, and the other person is Chris Knight.
34:05Hello, Chris.
34:06Hi, Lee.
34:07How are you?
34:08Very nervous.
34:09How are you expecting to get this far?
34:10I kind of expected to get this far, but I lucked out on that
34:13question completely.
34:14Well, that's interesting, because of the three people that are left,
34:17you're the only one with a pass.
34:19Yeah.
34:20So the question is, why didn't you use your pass?
34:22Well, I thought I'd got it right, but only when I was reading
34:25it after, then I realised I got it wrong.
34:27After the 30 seconds, you thought, I'm out.
34:28Yeah.
34:29You three are down to the final three.
34:31And as you know, if you can get to the 1% question,
34:33you will be joining us tomorrow night.
34:34So good luck to all three of you.
34:36APPLAUSE
34:39Right, let's see what that's linked to the prize pot.
34:41OK, we're on £98,000.
34:46OK, we're getting close to the end, and we only have three people
34:51left in the game.
34:52It's now time for the 15% question.
34:54If the red suits switch places with each other, then the black suits
34:59switch places with each other, then the card that is furthest to the
35:04right switches places with the first on the left, what card will be
35:09second from the left?
35:11Well, 30 seconds starts now.
35:13You can get the redling, and we look back now.
35:17Sorry.
35:18Anyway.
35:19Well, it's awesome.
35:21Buy the Hell out.
35:22I'm Stephenrice.
35:24You can keep scissors because this scene is so accomplished.
35:26I absolutely bother whether this is poker still has no way
35:28to the wall, it's so grossly Deus, your yes I'm nearly there.
35:31To all our observes, I need you耳 Bowser and Largo and Largo.
35:34огerson.com
35:36OK, your time is up. Let's see whose lights are still on.
35:47MUSIC PLAYS
35:49Right, we lost no-one. Let's have a look at the answer.
36:02APPLAUSE
36:04It's the ace of clubs. There it is.
36:09So, we still have Bex, we still have Craig and we still have Chris,
36:14who still has his pass.
36:16CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
36:19I mean, you must have nerves of steel, cos that is a complicated question.
36:23Were you not tempted to just play safe and use the pass?
36:25I found that one easier than the last one.
36:27What do you do, Chris? I'm a policeman.
36:29With that shirt, you're not undercover, are you?
36:31LAUGHTER No.
36:33What made you apply?
36:34The wife convinced me to apply.
36:36We watched it together quite a lot, so we always try and beat each other.
36:40OK.
36:42And then we saw a question and it just felt a little bit like, sort of, karma,
36:46so she just made me apply.
36:48What was the question?
36:49I can't remember what the question was, but the answer was three names.
36:51Charlie, which is the name of my dog, Joe, which is my wife's name,
36:54Chris, which was my name, and then the answer was the fourth question.
36:57So she just felt it was, like, karma.
37:00That was fate. Yeah.
37:01You thought, I'll apply. And told me to apply.
37:03And here you are, down to the final three, with your pass.
37:06So, listen, well done, Chris. Well done, Bex. Well done, Craig.
37:09You're still with us. Congratulations.
37:12CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
37:14Let's see what that's done for the prize pot.
37:16Nothing, of course, because Chris didn't use his pass.
37:20So, we're down to our last three players.
37:22You're just two questions away from getting to the 1% question.
37:25And if you do, whether you get it right or wrong,
37:27you'll get to come back tomorrow and have another chance
37:29to win everything in the prize pot.
37:31After the break, we'll find out which of our remaining contestants
37:34could go on to play the 1% question.
37:36See you in a bit.
37:48Welcome back to the 1% Club rollover.
37:49We are very nearly at the point where we will discover
37:51who our winner will be.
37:53Now, here's how the end of the game works.
37:55Whoever does the best here tonight will win £10,000.
37:58But if they're feeling brave, they can risk their £10,000
38:00by trying to answer the 1% question.
38:02Get it right and they will win everything in the prize pot,
38:05which is currently sitting at...
38:08£98,000.
38:12And remember, Chris, because you still have your £1,000,
38:15you can pay for a pass, but you can't use it on the 1% question.
38:19But if you've still got it at the 1% question,
38:21then you get to keep that £1,000 no matter what happens.
38:24So, there are only three people left in the quiz,
38:27and it's now time for the 10% question.
38:33OK, let's have a look.
38:34In a mixed group consisting of 160 Boy Scouts and Girl Guides,
38:39there are 48 more Girl Guides than Boy Scouts.
38:42How many Girl Guides are there in the group?
38:46The time starts now.
38:47OK, let's see you now.
38:49MUSIC PLAYS
38:51OK, your time is up. Let's see who got it right.
39:21Right. We lost two people there. Let's have a look at the answer. It's 104. 104 Gilkites.
39:43It's 48 more than 56 boys scouts. 104 plus 56 is 160. That means we have a winner.
39:50Congratulations to Chris Knight. You've just won £10,000 and made it to the 1% Question. Come down and join me.
40:02Chris, because you've done so well and made it to our final question, you win £10,000.
40:09And you didn't actually use your pass, which means that whatever happens tonight, you go home with your £1,000. Well done.
40:17APPLAUSE
40:21But now you face a dilemma. You can leave the show tonight and take the £10,000, or you can risk it all by attempting the 1% Question.
40:29Get it right and you will win everything in the prize pot which stands at...
40:33£98,000.
40:38APPLAUSE
40:40I think under normal circumstances this is a tricky dilemma because you don't want to risk your £10,000 necessarily.
40:46Do you think this new format of the rollover is affecting your decision one way or the other?
40:51Because whatever happens, you will be coming back tomorrow.
40:54I thought if I'd ever get, like, if there was only one or two of us in the final, I'd probably take £10,000.
40:59And I've been so nervous today, but if I come back tomorrow, I'd probably be a bit more confident.
41:05So if this was a normal episode where you don't get to come back, what do you think you would have done?
41:09Definitely take the £10,000.
41:10Take the £10,000.
41:11OK, listen, Chris, it is a very difficult decision, but we have to ask you, please, to make your decision.
41:15What would you like to do?
41:21I think I'm going to take the money.
41:23You're going to take the £10,000.
41:24Try again tomorrow.
41:25Yeah.
41:30Listen, Chris, you've decided not to play for the 1% question, which means you take home £10,000.
41:38Plus, of course, your £1,000 for not using your pass, so congratulations.
41:42Now, would you just like to be a little bit annoyed by seeing if you would have got it?
41:46Yes.
41:47Good, because so would we.
41:48So let's see if you would have got the 1% question right.
41:51This would have been your 1% question.
41:57On the 5x5 board below, each square was meant to show a unique number from 1 to 25.
42:02However, due to a printing error, one number has been repeated and one number is missing.
42:07What is the repeated number? What is the missing number?
42:10And your 30 seconds starts now.
42:13One number has been a bigger number from 2 to 15.
42:14Theメal
42:37MUSIC
42:45OK, your time's up. What would you have put, Chris?
42:48I thought, for some reason, it was 21, then, but I just saw 21, so...
42:51I don't know. Well, listen, if you don't know,
42:53it means you made the correct decision. Well done, Chris.
42:55You've just won £11,000. Let's have a look at the answer.
43:0118 is repeated and 19 is missing, so you played the perfect game.
43:04Well done, and more importantly, we will see you tomorrow night.
43:09And tonight's prize pop will roll over to tomorrow's show
43:13and you will get to come back again and try and win up to...
43:19£198,000.
43:22See you tomorrow when, hopefully, someone will go all the way
43:25and join the 1% Club. Good night!
43:34Yay!
43:50No!
