43:47But for those of you who don't know it, here's the short version.
43:50My parents were both junior hockey coaches, and they were hit by a drunk driver when I was
44:0012 years old.
44:01Mercifully for them, they died instantly.
44:05Mercifully for me, the St. Thomas Scholarships existed.
44:09I didn't have anybody else to help me, had a lot of memories, a love of hockey, and a huge hole in my heart.
44:20St. Thomas filled it with hope.
