Croatia has confirmed an order of 18 French CAESAR self-propelled howitzers following a meeting between Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris on December 8. Ministers signed the agreement along with a letter of intent to modernize Croatia’s 12 Rafale fighter jets, reinforcing the two nations’ strategic partnership and support for Ukraine and EU accession of Western Balkan states.
