00:48She declared it her favorite body part during a newlywed game-style show for Us Weekly and

01:06Wahlberg revealed that he once gave McCarthy a custom-made toy that had his face on it,

01:29One relationship revelation that came out during a Wendy Williams interview was the fact that
01:33these lovebirds also have a bunch of ink to forever commemorate their love.

01:42If you're thinking it's not that weird for lovers to get tattoos for one another, you're
01:46right, except you'd probably be hard-pressed to find anyone who got one designed specifically
01:51for touching their lover's face.
01:53And then when I put my hand on his face, I just always wanted to see Love Donnie.
01:57McCarthy Got Love tattooed on her index finger and Donnie tattooed on her middle finger.
02:03And to amp up the ick factor, Wahlberg chimed in and said,
02:06She said she did it so she could see it on my face, but she was hoping that it would lead
02:10to like some Amber Rose, Kanye business.
02:13That was a reference to Rose's infamous claim about her ex, Kanye West's preferred foreplay,
02:19and we'll just let you Google that one for yourself.
02:22During a typical fawning-all-over-each-other appearance on Rachael Ray, McCarthy and Wahlberg
02:27opened up about the romantic vow renewal he planned for their three-year anniversary.
02:31Every single day, I go, thank you, God, for him coming into my life.
02:35Donnie rented a theater and staged a candlelit musical performance while a video flashback
02:40of their relationship played before their eyes.
02:42That all sounds super romantic, until you realize that they do this every year.

02:47I think it's a nice commitment to each other, with everyone so busy and our schedules, like
02:51we live in Illinois and New York.
02:53Admitting that they're traveling between the two cities every week, Jennie said that it's
02:57this type of prioritizing that keeps things strong between them.
03:01Just to put this into perspective, other celebrity couples who also renewed their vows annually
03:05included Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey, and Heidi Klum
03:10and Seal — not the greatest track record there.
03:13This one, amazingly, has nothing at all to do with getting it on.
03:17In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, McCarthy said that when they first started dating,
03:21they, quote,
03:22FaceTimed at least 17 times a day.
03:24That, in turn, evolved into them FaceTiming every night they spent apart, and all night
03:28long while they sleep.
03:30McCarthy said,
03:31I sleep next to the phone, and he sleeps, and we wake up like that.
03:34Now there's no reason they ever have to miss out on each other's… special sounds.
03:38Without the sound of Donnie snoring at night, I might not be able to sleep.
03:44Judging by everything you know by now, you might assume McCarthy would be jealous if another
03:48woman made a pass at her hubby.
03:50But somehow this isn't the case with McCarthy and Wahlberg, at least not when it comes to
03:54his adoring fans.
03:56Wahlberg told Entertainment Tonight,
03:57My wife doesn't get jealous, but she definitely notices.
04:01Like an overzealous concertgoer feeling up his infamous rear, for example.
04:06That kind of thing never poses a problem for McCarthy, who says,
04:08The man is the most wonderful, honest, loving human being ever, and the way he shares love
04:14with all his fans, how can I take that away from them?
04:17But she quickly adds,
04:18I look at a girl and go like,

04:21Though they've both been famous since Reebok pumps were popular, it took decades for McCarthy
04:27and Wahlberg to find each other.
04:28The popular theory is that talk show host Andy Cohen set them up by scheduling them to
04:33appear together as total strangers on Watch What Happens Live.
04:36But in reality, they met two years earlier when McCarthy was hosting Dick Clark's New Year's
04:41Rockin' Eve 2010, during which Wahlberg performed with New Kids, according to Splash.
04:46Nine years ago was my first time hosting New Year's Eve and Donny performed with New Kids
04:51and he said,
04:51Hi Jenny McCarthy!
04:52I said,
04:52Hi Donny!
04:53And that was it.
04:54Soon after that first taping, Wahlberg appeared on McCarthy's VH1 show, where the two flirted
04:59so openly that she later blogged.

05:51Donnie's brother Mark Wahlberg and his wife, Rhea Darum, didn't attend Jenny and Donnie's
05:55nuptials.
05:56Part of the reason this was so juicy was because of rumors about Darum hating McCarthy.
06:01Both couples have long denied the rift, but a year after the wedding no-show, Darum showed
06:05a crack in the family's defensive wall when she tweeted, and quickly deleted, an obvious

06:30Darum quickly apologized, but the burn, coupled with the wedding no-show, continued to make

06:36Donnie tried to clear the whole thing up, telling Howard Stern that he and Mark have such crazy
06:40work schedules that they prioritize what little free time they have for family.
06:45It turned out Mark's daughter's birthday was the weekend of Donnie's wedding.

07:21But don't worry, because while Donnie Loves Jenny ended abruptly after three seasons due
07:26to McCarthy's son's desire to no longer participate, their relationship kept on going.

07:49We work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and then we fly out usually Wednesday night.
07:53But we live in the real Main Street USA of, like, Western Illinois.
07:57The suburban celebrity couple even has a running joke about loving Applebee's that apparently
08:02became so popular the restaurant chain even offered to host their wedding.
08:06I thought it was very cute that Applebee's tweeted us, so we, you know, went in on it.
08:11We actually said maybe we should have them do the appetizers.
08:14So why are they living this part-time normal life off the grid?

09:21after getting engaged in 2014.

09:28It was completely beautiful and more traditional than we'd expect from a former playmate and

09:34McCarthy's son Evan from her previous marriage even ended up being the one to walk her down
09:38the aisle.

09:42Still, not everything about the celeb pairing's nuptials followed standard wedding protocol.
09:48McCarthy broke a cardinal superstition.
09:50She had Wahlberg help her pick out a dress.
09:53According to E! News, she shopped for the traditional strapless gown with her then-fiancee at
09:58Bergdorf Goodman.
09:59Clearly, their love was strong enough to ward off whatever bad luck that might have conjured.
10:04Second marriages are even more likely to end in a divorce than a first marriage.
10:09According to The New York Times, 60 percent of second marriages fail.
10:13However, McCarthy and Wahlberg actually believe that marriage is better the second time around.
10:17In an interview with ET Canada, Wahlberg credited his satisfaction with the fact that the couple
10:22constantly work on their relationship.
10:25McCarthy had a similar perspective, saying,
10:27It's not like we never have problems, but we know if we do it's an opportunity to look
10:31inside and say, does this remind me of something from my past that I need to work on?
10:36Perhaps the biggest secret to their success is the fact that they always put their relationship
10:40first, especially before their professional lives.
10:43This is a feat considering the pair's busy Hollywood schedule.
10:47McCarthy has a serious XM show among a number of other business ventures, like her Blondie's
10:51cocktail line.
10:52Oh my god, that's so good.
10:54Meanwhile, Wahlberg has starred on the CBS drama Blue Bloods since 2010 while juggling
10:59tour dates with new kids on the block.
