She sends them home with rave collars when they get adopted ❤️ We spoke to Lisa about how she's fostered over 100 dogs so far with no plans to stop, and why she has a special place in her heart for senior dogs!

00:00We do it every night with every new foster that comes in.

00:04They have the rave party and they're really into it.

00:09They like to run around and have fun.

00:13Our rave party has just started out of safety.

00:17I just wanted to make sure that I could see everyone clearly and quickly at night.

00:23Now it's just another way to have fun with these pretty low-key senior dogs.

00:29Every foster that gets adopted, I send them home with a little rave collar

00:33so that they continue the rave in their forever home.

00:41Okay, we got Cosmo. Let's head home.

00:46We've fostered over 100 dogs.

00:49He's 13 years young.

00:51Whenever I go pick up a new foster at the rescue, it's always exciting.

00:55Okay, let's go.

00:57You get a lot of surprises.

01:01The rescue gives me all of the supplies that I need.

01:05Did you already find the perfect sunbathing spot?

01:09Usually the first day is just a lot of decompressing.

01:11We kind of try to keep it low-key and just hang out with the dog.

01:15Are you so sleepy?

01:18Learning as much as I can about them, where they like to sleep at night,

01:22what their eating habits are.

01:24That's kind of where my dogs take over with the fostering.

01:28They kind of show them the lay of the land.

01:38Senior dogs can fit so many different lifestyles.

01:40They just can bond with you so quickly.

01:53I always say it's like Christmas because you're giving a new family

01:57the greatest gift that they'll ever receive.

02:04There's always just so much joy on their faces when I give them their new dog.

02:09That really gives me a lot of peace of mind that he ended up in the best possible home for him.

02:19Fostering senior dogs, it's just been the most absolutely rewarding experience of my life.
