00:00I certainly thought at 10-10, the Chiefs' offense was moving it better

00:08than the Texans' offense was.

00:11But, I mean, you could see a turnover happening on either side.

00:18So I felt like it was even – I would say the Chiefs had momentum,

00:21but I'm not going to sit there and say that I thought for sure they were going to –

00:24if they ever got up, they ever got a score, right, like they were up leading,

00:30and then Andy would probably play at conservative, yeah, then maybe.

00:33But, no, at 10-10, I didn't think so.

00:35Look, our offense was completely overwhelmed.

00:37They were going absolutely nowhere.

00:38They clearly – Kansas City had the momentum.

00:42You know, clearly you're watching that game, and if you had to bet the game at 10-10,

00:46the way our offense was playing, nobody in their right mind was betting the Texans

00:50in that moment.

00:51You look at it, our defense was having a hell of a night, obviously,

00:55against Pat Mahomes.

00:56But if you're in that third quarter, beyond halftime,

01:00their defense was overwhelming our offense.

01:02Their offense was actually – they weren't having a ton of success,

01:06but they weren't overwhelmed by what the Texans were doing.

01:08As you mentioned, Will Anderson, Daniil Hunter were kept at bay, relatively speaking.

01:13Yeah, they scored their first two drives.

01:16Yeah.

01:16It looked like the scheme, the game plan that Andy had, you know,

01:20moving the pocket and then, you know, accompanied with – coupled with Pat's ability

01:26to manipulate the pass rush.

01:28I mean, they had some decent answers to give them some chances.

01:31It was going to be a long day against our defense any way you slice it,

01:34but they had a really – I mean, they had a decent plan.

01:36If I'm – look, like Andy Reid and Pat, like I think they let –

01:40they let a good chunk of the game go by without getting Rasheed Rice involved in the game

01:46more than they already had.

01:47I thought that was pretty interesting because it was working.

01:50The quick stuff, you know, the quick swing screens and stuff they were doing with him

01:53was working early on, and so not getting him involved was interesting a little bit more.

01:57But really, their plan was –

01:59Teams really like to try to take shots on the Texans.

02:01Yeah, because they're there.

02:02You watch the film, they're there.

02:03Even with their linemen issues, they were – that seemed to be a lot of the gameplay.

02:09And they were there, but yeah.

02:11The thing is, we're going to watch a film, and I know I already saw them on the TV copy one time.

02:15And this is what opponents do, right?

02:17Josh – especially opponents like Pat Mahomes, Josh Allen.

02:20What they do is they go to the sideline after getting sacked or having to go three and out

02:25and, you know, not converting to third and 14 or something.

02:28You go to the sideline, and somebody hands you them little printouts.

02:31Or you look – I guess nowadays you look at your iPad, right?

02:33Yeah.

02:33And you look at your iPad, and you go, gosh dang, man, if I just had another split second, man.

02:37Look at – look at number one running down the sideline all by himself.

02:41Man, look at Hollywood running across the field all by himself for a 40-yard game.

02:45Gosh dang, if I just had a split more – so you go back out there, and you're like,

02:47I'm going to figure out a way to get another split second because I know I've got guys open down there.

02:51Next thing you know, you're in third and 14 again.

02:54That's what gets those kind of guys.

02:56Those kind of guys, Pat Mahomes, Josh Allen, there's just –

03:00some of the same things we've talked about C.J. Stroud doing.

03:02And it's just like the desire to go make those big plays because you can

03:07and you have for a big chunk of your career takes you out of sorts.

03:11And that offense is – that's a tough, tough way to play offense against this defense.

03:32That's what they did.

03:39We go back and look at the tape.

03:41They went for it on fourth on their side of the field.

03:43Unfortunately, they got it.

03:45But what I'll say about this is, Andrew, I shout out to y'all's show, man.

03:54I give y'all a tip of my hat because Chris Cottons wrote,

03:57we had the ball in the fourth quarter, Ron, with a minute or something left.

04:01He said it was saying the game ain't over and we in field goal runs.

04:05This is what happens in life, Clint.

04:07Sometimes people can have so much expectations on you what they do with Patrick Mahomes.

04:14They think still that he was going to be able to pull that out,

04:17and he was going down by 10.

04:19He wouldn't give up then while they get the ball at the five.

04:22Chris Collinsworth said he probably haven't took a snap in the offense practice

04:27and the man going so deep, he shut up.

04:29Man, I'm so sick of these commentators, man.

04:33But this is what I say, Ron, and I hang up and listen.

04:35What happens is nobody talking about these claims.

04:38I told you last night, Ron, it wasn't 20 points.

04:42It could have been easily 27 because the first drive we put seven on the board,

04:47but we had to take it off because the offensive line created a penalty.

04:53Bad set up on the line, and they called the seven back from Schultz.

04:57Schultz called a good call.

05:00Schultz crossed the middle for six, but we had a penalty, so they erased that.

05:04So what I'll say is this here, man.

05:06It's a lot can be pointed to the game, but you have to realize one thing.

05:10Clint, check this out.

05:11Kansas City was down 10-0 after two halves of a football game.

05:15That's uncharted territory from them.

05:18They had zero at the half, and they caught themselves trying to hustle back

05:22and get a win.

05:23That's not happening with the Texas 20-25 defense.

05:27You can't do that.

05:28Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, you can't win like that.

05:31So it started from the top, and I hang up and get y'all taken.

05:43The Texans only lost the third quarter.

05:44I've come out and said, I think the better team won the game.

05:50They were the better team.

05:51I think the only advantage there that the Chiefs had was Spags and Chris Jones,

05:57and that almost spun the thing around.

06:02But, no, the Texans made plays throughout the game in a way that the Chiefs didn't,

06:08and they deserved to win the game and should have won the game.
