00:00Lil Uzi Vert's label owners are firing back at claims they're the reason for his album not dropping,
00:07Cardi B suing people for defamation, plus Jaden Smith is helping some thirsty people at a supermarket.
00:15Hey guys, it's Ally for Hollywood Life with your hip-hop roundup, starting with Tech N9ne.
00:20Not to be confused with Strange Music's Tech N9ne, as the battle rapper has reportedly passed away.
00:25Outlets are reporting his cause of death is unknown at this time, and we will keep you posted as more information becomes available.
00:32Now to Jaden Smith, the icon living went semi-undercover at a Woolworths in Australia to hand out his boxed water to customers.
00:41Welcome to Woolworths. My name is Jaden. I know where the water is.
00:45I'm new here. I just started working. I have two pairs of glasses because I feel like it makes me more personable.
00:50Are you an icon living?
00:51Someone gets it.
00:5282% made out of—oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. Such a close call. My glasses. I can't do my job without my glasses.
00:59Oh my goodness. That was my first scan. I don't know what to do with this. I'm going to add a little something in here for you.
01:04You don't have to tell nobody. Seriously. One, two. Can I put this in here for you? Oh wow. One more so you can share with a friend.
01:12Jaden needs to do more comedies and less of whatever After Earth was.
01:15Anyway, to Cardi B, TMZ reports she's trademarking various spellings of her signature catchphrase so she can sell it on merch.
01:24However, some people weren't feeling this money move and she quickly responded to them in a new video like the queen she has.
01:30So you hoes is mad because I trademarked a grrr. Let me tell you something. Every single time I go to a corporate meeting—
01:37Oh my god. Can we just please hear you say a grrr? Every time I go to a TV show, hey, hey, can you teach me how to say a grrr?
01:44Hey, hey, hey. Every time I go do a commercial, hey, can you finish it off with a grrr? You think I ain't going to profit off this shit?
01:50Why do folks do it all the time? So you're going to be mad at me because I want to get some—
01:55Yahoo!
01:57Let me tell you something. While I'm still here, I'm going to secure all the bags.
02:01Whoa! No lies told.
02:02But alright, Cardi B is suing a blogger for defamation.
02:06TMZ reports a YouTuber allegedly made claims saying Cardi was a prostitute, she had herpes, and that she may have been doing drugs during her pregnancy.
02:14The site also reports another person is being dragged for allegedly making similar claims about Cardi's alleged drug abuse and prostitution.
02:22TMZ reports that Cardi's given the two people an opportunity to retract their statements, but they've refused to do so, so she filed a lawsuit on the grounds of defamation.
02:32She's also seeking an injunction to delete the videos.
02:35Apparently, one of the people has about 23 videos with these claims, and it seems like one of them has been taken down so far.
02:42Moving on to Lil Uzi Vert, as many of you know, his highly anticipated project, Eternal A Take, is still not out and fans are going nuts.
02:51Uzi recently said on an Instagram Live session that his label wouldn't allow him to release the project, although he thinks it's ready to go out.
02:58However, DJ Drama recently commented on Uzi's Instagram post making fans do a double take because he's saying the rapper has their blessing to release the project.
03:08So, now who's the real liar in this situation, and what's it going to take for someone to drop this?
03:14Well, we will keep you posted on this, but for now, hit the sub, like, and bell button, and let us know in the comments how badly you want the new Uzi album to drop. Bye, guys.
