Last week, Saudi Arabia finally broke its almost year-long dry spell — and the desert didn’t hold back. For many who live here, rain isn’t just weather, it’s an event.
After months of heat, dust, and endless blue, the sight of dark clouds rolling in was electric. Thunder cracked across the desert and lightning lit up the horizon.
Emily Morgan from Saudi Arabia, along with her husband Stuart Morgan, were seated inside their car when they witnessed this breathtaking moment unfold. Their camera captured the storm’s raw energy as the sky erupted in flashes and the desert came roaring back to life.
