00:00One party on the left that has been enjoying great recent success, who have elected a new single leader, of course, is the Greens with Zach Polanski.
00:09They have been doing incredibly well in the polls. They've been growing their membership.
00:14He's even invited you to defect to the Green Party.
00:16What would your message be to a voter who looks at them and thinks they're doing well, they're vibrant, they're growing, I'm going to go there,
00:23as opposed to joining a party that is finding it quite hard to agree with itself?
00:26I think it's important that voters have a choice and that they are able to look at the left of politics,
00:31given the fact that the Labour Party has left the scene, and see multiple parties that are speaking to their interests.

00:44Would you defect?
00:45I think there has to be conversations around electoral alliances.
00:48We have to look at the next election, where the goal has to be to stop Nigel Farage from getting the keys to Downing Street.
00:54But fundamentally, we are different parties. We are a socialist party.
00:57We're a party that is going to represent the working class that isn't shy about talking about the material issues affecting workers.
