00:00Let's turn our attention to Atlanta, a rematch of a game that took place in the month of September.
00:07Alabama snapped Georgia's 33-game home-winning streak.
00:12They won that matchup, Coach, 24-21.
00:15We saw Alabama struggle on the planes last week.
00:18They picked up a seven-point road win over their arch-rival Auburn.
00:23Same thing with Georgia against Georgia Tech.
00:26They grinded out a 16-9 win in Atlanta against the Yellow Jackets.
00:32Right now, Georgia, two-and-a-half point favorite in this matchup.
00:36How do you see it playing out?
00:38Well, again, I like Georgia in this game.
00:40I think, again, it's the second time they played Alabama.
00:42But I really think this game is personal for Kirby.
00:44I mean, he's 0-2 against DeBoer.
00:46He has had a bad record against Alabama.
00:49And I think he's recognized probably as the top coach in the country.
00:53But this is his real nemesis, Alabama.
00:56And I can't see him.
00:57He's lost twice.
00:59And each time he's lost to DeBoer at Alabama, he's gotten behind early,
01:03has not come on strong at the beginning.
01:05They have to come out aggressively and keep this game close or get ahead early.
01:10If they're going to play catch-up, they could very well lose this game
01:13just like they did the last time.
01:15But I do think that they will keep it close.
01:18They'll go after him.
01:19I think they'll be emotionally.
01:21They will be fired up.
01:22Kirby will have them fired up.
01:23Because, again, this game is very personal to him and what he wants to be.
01:28And the team he knows he's got to beat in the SEC every year is Alabama.
01:32He's got to show he can do it.
01:34So I love Georgia.
01:35They'll keep it close at the beginning.
01:37And I think they'll lay it on at the end of the game.
01:39That defense will stifle the offense at Alabama.
01:42I think when you look at the first matchup, Georgia was able to run the football consistently.
01:48They put up 227 yards on Alabama, averaged well over 6.4 yards per carry.
01:56And Alabama still struggled with Auburn.
01:58They allowed 152 rushing yards to the Tigers on Saturday night.
02:02They built the 17-0 first-half lead and allowed that to slip.
02:07This isn't the same Alabama defense, Coach, that we've seen in recent years with Nick Saban.
02:13We'll see if they can step up.
02:15We'll turn our attention in next segment to the Alabama side.
02:18Do you want to just state about Georgia right now?
02:22Defensively is where this team is progressing.
02:24We know that they have the offense.
02:26They could throw it with Gunnar Stockton.
02:28They have the two big play running backs of Bowens and Nate Frazier.
02:32The wide receivers have come on.
02:34Branch and some of the others, Dylan Bell.
02:37But this defense is playing like a championship-caliber unit.
02:42Yeah, I mean, the quarterback at Georgia Tech, Haynes King, was having a great year.
02:45They shut him down completely.
02:47He did nothing.
02:48They had to settle for field goals, couldn't score points.
02:51And so I see that being the case with Ty Simpson.
02:54Their defense will be the stars of the day and their running attack.
