00:24little bit more explosive with the passing attack, but which edge do you give in this
00:29second round game? You know what? It's funny. I give it to Georgia and their quarterback.
00:36Not so much. He's a better quarterback than Trinidad Chambliss. He is the quarterback for
00:42Georgia. He fits their system, just like Stenson Bennett was there when they won championships.
00:47It didn't make him the number one draft pick or the Heisman winner. It made him the best manager
00:52of their offense. That's the kind of quarterback Gunnar Stockton is, and he's gotten better and
00:58better and runs the ball deceptively well. His passing has gotten better, but mostly he
01:04understands his role at Georgia to distribute the ball to the right people, to run it when
01:11you need to run it, but make sure you don't make mistakes, that you don't turn the ball
01:14over and you run their offense. I think that's what they like the most. That's the kind of
01:19quarterback that they like. Trinidad Chambliss, I'm going to tell you, he is a special character.
01:24I don't think anybody expected a guy that could dual threat, run, throw the ball so
01:29well. Touchdown to interception ratio is incredible. One of the top quarterbacks statistically in
01:35the country, and he came out of a Division II program. I think he has something intangible
01:40inside as a quarterback. Has the ability to lead that team offensively to a lot of points,
01:48and when you do, you can have a game. Remember, they scored the touchdowns on the first five
01:53drives they had against Georgia last time they played, and except for the last two, three
01:58and outs in the fourth quarter, very well could have beaten Georgia. So I think each quarter
02:03is quarterback is the best for the system that they run, and the most amazing story to me
02:09is Trinidad Chambliss.
02:11It really is. Now, I think it's important to recognize both offenses, right? We talk about
02:17Ole Miss having a little bit more explosive plays. Georgia has stepped up as well.
02:22You can go back to a number of games. The Ole Miss game, to your point in the second half,
02:27they made second half adjustments, and Ole Miss did not have the defensive answers for
02:32Gunnar Stockton in the rushing attack of the Bulldogs. But go to the road win over Tennessee.
02:38Gunnar Stockton made some big throws over the top. I think the matchup and the breakdown for
02:44me is which team statistically can run the football better? Because we talk about Georgia
02:49entering this matchup. They have one of the most dominant rushing attacks in the college football
02:53playoff. They're averaging 186 rushing yards per game in their first matchup in Athens. They rushed
03:01for 221 yards on the ground and 4.8 yards per carry. Why is that important? Because Ole Miss,
03:10coach, has the worst rush defense in the college football playoff, allowing 147 rushing yards to opposing
03:18offenses. To me, that is the matchup. If the rushing attack is going to be there for the Bulldogs,
03:24Gunnar Stockton can work off a play action, and it's a little bit lighter for him to take on all
03:30the responsibility. Well, that's right. I think, like I said, it fits into the way they manage their
03:36offense. The key matchup, like you said, is Georgia's running game against the worst running
03:41defense in the conference. And that's been the weakness of Ole Miss. And they've had to outscore
03:47people, and they often have the ability to outscore people. You know, they have the first team
03:52all-conference running back in Kiwan Lacy themselves, and he has great big play potential
03:58and gives them a running any game. He can come out there and have a great game, and they can run the
04:03football. So it's not like they can't run it, but I think the real weakness of Ole Miss is going to be
04:08attacked by the strength of Georgia, which is their desire and ability to run the football
04:14and dominate and dominate so that by the fourth quarter, they've got you playing on your heels.
04:20They've got you backing up because you're getting knocked on your fanny. I think that's where Georgia
04:24wants to beat Ole Miss in the physicality of their running game.
