IndiGo’s operations collapsed into a third day of chaos as more than 600 flights were cancelled on Friday, after over 550 cancellations the previous day. Passengers across major airports faced severe disruption, sparking sharp criticism from opposition parties targeting IndiGo, the DGCA, and the Civil Aviation Ministry for negligence. The airline blamed a pilot shortage and winter schedule strain, seeking partial relaxation of new FDTL norms, which it says cannot be fully implemented before February 2026.

00:00Everybody knows that Indigo is the big player in airlines.
00:06Today the fate of the Indian airlines are Indian aviation business. Indigo captured 65 percent
00:14of the business and playing with the challenge, throwing a challenge to the Indian government
00:21and neglecting the passengers valuable time and passengers care and passengers responsibility.
00:29When DGCA made some new policy to the passengers and the aerodroms and to the Indian aviation
00:38up to the international level businesses. But where in India Indigo acquies 65 percent of the
00:46Indian aviation business and neglecting and not even carrying DGCA new policy rules and guidelines.
00:54And in terms, the aviation minister belongs to the TDP party and AP, Mr. Ramohan Naidu.
01:03So the months ago, the DGCA policy has come, but he has not conducted a single meeting with the
01:10collaboration with the Indigo or other airlines and DGCA personnel.
01:16Instead of that, he is taking the rails going to the Bhagapuram airport and when an accident met,
01:26I mean, when an airplane met with an accident in Ahmedabad, there also he went and he took some
01:32Marines and at that time, he has been blamed like anything. Now also, instead of doing a coordination,
01:39instead of conducting a meetings and totally forgotten and he is telling that
01:44that and we will try to set right and request the Indigo people management. And the pilots and the pilots union people,
01:52they are talking, they are murmuring now. The aviation minister, Mr. Ramohan Naidu, I mean,
02:00collaborated with the Indigo business, I mean, management and both these people trying to let down the DGCA new rules,
02:08which is, I mean, standards along with the international standards. There, I think, the dignity of the Indian airlines
02:16now come down because of the Telukhdesya Party and Mr. Ramohan Naidu.
