00:00I gave birth to four babies at the age of 50.
00:02I wanted twins, I ended up having quadruplets.
00:05We're all six, same birthdays and we're born all together.
00:10My quadruplets are actually younger than some of my grandkids.
00:13I was getting messages, why would you want kids at 50?
00:17You're never going to see your kids grow up.
00:19We've asked the audience what they think of parents having children in their 50s.
00:23Could you respond to their comments?
00:25Okey dokey.
00:26Very selfish to try and have a baby at 50.
00:29Come and look at my kids and then say it's selfish.
00:31Because there's no selfish about it.
00:33We had two boys and we decided to try again for a baby girl.
00:37And we went to the ultrasound and we were told there were five heartbeats instead of one.
00:41I think I might have cried for about an hour.
00:44I was thinking I'm five foot one.
00:47Where are all these babies gonna go and how is this gonna work?
00:52Our family went from four to nine overnight.
00:55So what's been the most nice?
00:57Uh, we tried for a girl and got for a girl.
01:02I'm like what quadruplets?
01:05I'm like wow this is so amazing.
01:08He was grabbing the wall like is there some water somewhere?
01:11I'm like oh my goodness.
01:13People say we're lying about IVF treatment.
01:18How do you feel about these two sharing their life on social media?
01:22We tried for a girl and four babies arrived.
01:25Going from three to seven was a huge change for us.
01:28Around seven weeks they told me triplets.
01:31We had already processed it and they were like you're actually having four.
01:35The doctors was asking me did I do any fertility treatments.
01:37I'm like wouldn't it be in my file?
01:39People were saying mean stuff saying that we're on government assistance.
01:42We're just assuming that we're just out here just want to have a million babies.
01:45My friends and family were very shocked.
01:47I'm still shocked.
01:48Y'all got four babies.
01:49I didn't think y'all would have any more kids.
01:51Do you want to have any more children?
01:55Let me get you a pacifier because you about to cut up.
01:58I see it.
02:03My name is Rondera and I am a mom of quadruplets.
02:11I'm Carla.
02:13That's my mom.
02:14That's my daddy.
02:16I'm going to find four pieces.
02:19Go sit down.
02:20That's Chris and my brother and that's my little brother and that's all of my siblings.
02:27Did you always want a big family?
02:30I did not.
02:30I did not want a big family.
02:33I think max I wanted three kids and my husband only wanted one.
02:36So you want chicken nuggets for breakfast.
02:41We got married at 18 and 19 years old and so
02:44we've literally been raising kids since we got married.
02:47Going from three to seven was a huge change for us.
02:50How does the start of your day compare to before you had classes?
02:55We have to figure out balance because before of course you know all of our other kids are older
03:01so we're able to kind of just get up and go.
03:02Now we've just figured out a method to where she just gets up a little bit earlier since I'm going to work.
03:07We have truly tried to really lean into each other.
03:11Communication is everything.
03:13When you're finishing your breakfast, we're going to start homeschooling, okay?
03:17I got to go to work so I'll see y'all later.
03:19All right, see you, bitch.
03:21Appreciate it.
03:22You are not about to eat all that food.
03:24Yeah.
03:26Day-to-day life is unpredictable, but I try to at least have a schedule sometimes.
03:33Can gladly take him.
03:34By the time it's time to start school, the quads have already eight, then I can go ahead and transition
03:39to starting homeschooling and typically I'll have to have at least one baby.
03:43Right now there isn't a like great balance between it, but I just make it work with the time that I have.
03:49Like right now they're quiet, they're chill, so let's do school.
03:52Okay.
03:5421 verse 8.
03:56I really enjoy homeschooling and I feel like it helps them to be um...
04:02I keep losing my focus.
04:05How did the older boys react when you told them?
04:07So I remember Carlos just looked at me shocked, like he just looked at me.
04:12And then Christian, he's like, four plus three, that's seven.
04:16He's like, mommy gonna have seven babies.
04:19Tell us what your uh, new brothers and sisters are like.
04:22Guys, so they're like, they're sweet.
04:26The boys are amazing.
04:27They love their baby brothers and sisters.
04:29I don't feel like there's any jealousy.
04:31Be gentle.
04:32Be gentle, partner, dad.
04:34They help me out a lot around the house.
04:36Most of the time I don't have to ask.
04:37They truly love doing it.
04:40Good job, Carlos.
04:46How far along were you when you found out there were going to be clogs?
04:49Around seven weeks they told me triplets.
04:52We had already processed it.
04:53We was okay with it.
04:55And they were like, um, no, um, you're actually having four.
04:58I'm laughing because there's four.
05:00What?
05:01Yeah.
05:05I thought they said three.
05:06No, there's four.
05:07Are you gonna pass out?
05:09I can't handle it.
05:10No.
05:11As soon as they told me, I came home and I walked two miles.
05:14And I cried going a mile down and a mile back.
05:18What's wrong?
05:19What?
05:20What?
05:21What's wrong, sweet pea?
05:23I believe it was my husband's response that truly helped comfort me in that moment.
05:28I was like, what are we going to do?
05:29And he was like, we're going to take care of them.
05:31And honestly, it still hasn't hit me yet.
05:33Like every day I still look at them and I'm just like, I cannot believe I carry quads.
05:38Mr. Dimple man.
05:39Hi, pretty girl.
05:41I love their outfits.
05:45Is that fun for you?
05:47Yeah, I love Courtney.
05:48Well, especially because I got girls.
05:50And after having three boys, that's exciting.
05:53We have been hoping and praying for a little girl for about eight years now.
05:57I love my boys dearly, but I truly wanted to know what it feels like to have a little girl.
06:04I surely did not expect quadruplets.
06:06The girls' outfits, they have matching everything.
06:09And then the boys, I try to coordinate them as well, a matching shirt.
06:16We get a lot of release support from our online community.
06:20A lot of people help out with donating things.
06:23Before I got pregnant with the quads, I had an interior designer page.
06:28And I had a page that I would use for my salon, doing hair.
06:31Okay, she can go in the front.
06:33And then when I got pregnant with the quads, I realized that I would no longer be able to do
06:37hair or do interior design.
06:39And so I branched off into being a content creator.
06:45When I shared online that I was having quads, a lot of people were shocked.
06:50I got a lot of people saying, like, no way.
06:52Like, and I'm like, I wouldn't lie about something like that.
06:55I have a lot of people that asked me, did I do any fertility treatments or anything like that?
07:03And it was all natural and spontaneous.
07:05The doctor shocked.
07:06Actually, the doctors was asking me, did I do any fertility treatments?
07:09I'm like, wouldn't it be in my file?
07:12A lot of people think that I'm lying and that I did IVF.
07:15They do not believe it's natural.
07:16People were saying mean stuff, saying that we're on government assistance and stop using the government
07:20and just assuming that we're just out here, just want to have a million babies.
07:24And that wasn't the case.
07:25I had to be very careful with not internalizing how people felt towards it,
07:29the negative towards it, and put it on me.
07:31Like, oh, wow, yeah, I am having four.
07:33Like, oh, this is shocking.
07:35Like, can I do it?
07:37I'm so grateful that they're all healthy.
07:39I don't take it personally at all.
07:41It's a major change for us, for my family.
07:44Our support system is not that great.
07:48We don't really have much family here at all.
07:50Right now, my friend is able to come over and help when she can.
07:54We made it.
08:03Hey, sis.
08:05How are you?
08:06Good.
08:07Thank you for coming.
08:12Carter, you're looking real chunky today.
08:14What's up with it?
08:15Is it the brown?
08:16You know?
08:18So, friend, remember when I first told you I was pregnant with quads?
08:23Remember when I called you on the phone?
08:24I didn't think y'all would have any more kids.
08:27So it's like, wow, they're about to have four more from the three.
08:31I remember you called me and you was like, friend, you was like, I don't know.
08:35You was like, this is a blessing.
08:36And you was like, I know it's a lot.
08:40And y'all will be all right.
08:42I definitely have my days where I feel overwhelmed.
08:46And you always constantly send me encouraging words.
08:51And I definitely appreciate it because, yeah, the weight definitely gets heavy.
08:55It definitely gets heavy, for sure.
08:58But I see your strength and like, I know how strong you are.
09:01Even before this, no matter what life throws at you, you've been powering through it.
09:06I think you are doing a better job than most people would handle it.
09:09You know, some people would fall apart or, but even now you're still getting up,
09:13going for your walks and taking care of you.
09:15And that's important.
09:16How would you describe it as parents?
09:20Well, they're great parents.
09:24You know, they work well together.
09:26Having four newborns is like challenging.
09:29Yeah.
09:29And no matter what, I don't care who you are, it can be tough.
09:32But I think they're amazing parents and they're amazing together.
09:35And I wouldn't see a better team doing this, you know, together.
09:40It's still unbelievable.
09:41I know.
09:42Y'all got four babies.
09:43It's insane.
09:44For the future, I see us on acres of land.
09:51I just see a lot of laughter and joy and connections.
09:54I like to just see them grow like it's four babies and they all have their different milestones.
09:59I don't know.
09:59I just love them.
10:00Would you like to have any more children?
10:02No.
10:05I do not want to have any more kids.
10:08I am done.
10:08That shop is closed.
10:10I wanted one girl.
10:11God gave me two.
10:11And two more boys to love on.
10:14So I am grateful.
10:15Can somebody get daddy the cheese, please?
10:18The cheese.
10:20What's your favorite food?
10:22Cheese.
10:22Cheese?
10:23Yes.
10:24You like little mice.
10:26Yum, yum.
10:27Yum, yum.
10:29I'm Britain's oldest mum with quadruplets and I'm 57 years old.
10:34Who likes helping mummy?
10:37I have six-year-old quadruplets.
10:40Francesca, Frederica, Grace and George.
10:43I would describe my family as happy, loud,
10:49crazy, chaos.
10:54Why have we gone up in the morning?
10:56Look at that.
10:56He's got what?
10:57It's probably a quiet day, isn't it?
10:59This is an easy one so far.
11:01This is an easy one.
11:02It's going to be a lot of madness.
11:05Right, get your balls.
11:06Do you want to go and set the table?
11:08When did you have your first three children?
11:11So I had my daughter in 1986 when I was 18.
11:15Then I got pregnant again straight after three months later with my son.
11:19I just turned 19 and I had my youngest son in 1996 when I was 28.
11:26Because they've got their own kids,
11:28my quadruplets are actually younger than some of my grandkids.
11:31We set the table up.
11:33We set the table up.
11:34Oh, have you set it?
11:35Yes.
11:36Oh, let me see.
11:38Let's have a look.
11:38Great!
11:42Well done!
11:44There are times where it's hard work and you think,
11:49oh my god, what have I done?
11:52As I'm older, they give me more energy.
11:54All my energy goes into them.
11:55What do you love most about your sisters and brother?
12:00My sisters and brother are fun and really kind.
12:04Mama, Dad, Lily's blue!
12:08Who's the best cook?
12:10Mommy or Daddy?
12:11Daddy.
12:16Now, George doesn't like noise.
12:17Come on.
12:18Come on.
12:18Come on.
12:19What do you say?
12:21Daddy!
12:22Girl.
12:22Daddy.
12:23Daddy.
12:23Daddy.
12:24So I met Stephen where we used to live in Camden.
12:28And we just used to know like the same group of people.
12:31So it was like familiar faces and we just used to say hi.
12:34And then, yeah, it went from there.
12:36I think he was 26 and I was 37.
12:39But he looked older than me, so I allowed it.
12:43Don't say that.
12:44He always wanted a big family.
12:45I already had three kids, so I didn't want any.
12:48And the funny thing was, I said I wanted five kids.
12:51Do you remember?
12:52Yeah.
12:52I said I wanted five kids.
12:53I already had one.
12:54So five was the number I said.
12:56Always said.
12:57Just couldn't conceive, could we, for a while?
12:59Yeah.
13:00And it was just, harm was just ticking.
13:01So I was just worried about getting too old and not happening.
13:05I always wanted twins.
13:06I've always been fascinated with twins.
13:08I think it's because my mum always wanted twins.
13:11Always getting emotional when I think about my mum.
13:15Because if it were, if it were, I wouldn't have been able to do it.
13:20She died in 2007.
13:22So I used my mum's money to do it.
13:24And I went for IVF.
13:25I just had a feeling deep down it was going to work.
13:27And I just knew it would happen.
13:30And she blessed me with four.
13:34Do you dress the quality matching outfits?
13:36Yeah, all the time.
13:38So, for instance, we have these.
13:42And then we have these.
13:45When I got pregnant, I remember me and Stephen was in bed.
13:47And I got the test.
13:49And it just went, pregnant.
13:50And I went, oh!
13:51And we both just went, oh!
13:53We just hugged each other.
13:54And, you know, crying and laughing and joyful.
13:58And then reality struck in.
13:59And I thought, oh my God, I forgot to tell my kids now.
14:04Yeah, so.
14:05My daughter said, oh mum, you might have twins.
14:07Because she looked big already.
14:09I think I was like nine weeks.
14:10And she said, I'll take it for a private scan.
14:12The woman was scanning me and I'm laid on the bed.
14:15She went, let's all calm down.
14:17I'm going to put a fan on.
14:19She put the fan on and she went, there's actually four.
14:22Well, I started crying by this time.
14:24And then straight away I thought to my mum again.
14:27Because she had seven kids.
14:28And I thought, oh, my mum's done it again.
14:30My daughter went, that's what you get, mum.
14:32Nana's done that.
14:34It wasn't like tears of, oh my God, what am I going to do?
14:38It was just shock.
14:39Because I weren't expecting four.
14:42There are good and bad things about raising quadruplets.
14:45I mean, the good thing is they've got each other.
14:47They can play with each other.
14:49If I had to put some bad points is, you know,
14:51the arguing and the scribbling and getting up really early when,
14:56you know, at times I could do the lying.
14:58But I chose to have them.
15:00So, yeah, I just go along with it and do my best what I can.
15:04Who's the oldest mum in the UK to ever have had quadruplets?
15:09When did you decide to start sharing your life on social media?
15:13When it went worldwide, my sister-in-law said to me,
15:16why don't you go to the newspapers?
15:18And I said, oh, no, I want to keep it private.
15:21She went, why?
15:21She went, if that was a young girl, she went, they'd be interested in that.
15:26So rather than go to a newspaper, I rang an agent up.
15:28I didn't realise I was the oldest mum in the UK just to say,
15:32I'm pregnant with quadruplets.
15:34Do you want the story?
15:35Then my daughter rang me up and she went, mum, what have you done?
15:38And I went, why?
15:39She went, you're in every single newspaper.
15:41Do not read the comments.
15:42Do not read the comments.
15:44What are you going to do straight away?
15:45Read the comments.
15:46Why would somebody want kids at 50?
15:48Why did she have them when she was younger?
15:50I'm used to it now, but then I thought, I can't stress
15:53because I'm carrying four babies.
15:54I knew if I stressed out, you know, something could happen
15:57and I just wanted to protect the babies.
15:59After I'd had the kids, I made an Instagram page.
16:03With TikTok, I just started sharing it like about a month ago.
16:06Not long back, somebody messaged me on TikTok saying,
16:10why would you want kids at 50?
16:12And I said, why not?
16:13That shut them up.
16:14Make them feel guilty for asking the question in the first place.
16:17We've asked the audience what they think of parents having children in their 50s.
16:22Could you respond to their comments?
16:23Okie dokie.
16:24Women can have children whenever they desire, as long as they, in brackets,
16:30and the father can provide for them.
16:32The answer is, yeah, we can.
16:34That's grandma right there.
16:36Yep.
16:37That's grandma right here.
16:39I'm a grandma of 12 grandkids and proud of it too.
16:43There's so many things that can be wrong with the baby for having it so old.
16:49It's not fair to the child and who will care for it once you pass away.
16:54Why does everybody always bother about you passing away?
16:57Very selfish to try and have a baby at 50.
17:00Well, whoever sent you this message wants to come and have a day in our lives
17:06and see if they'll change their attitude.
17:08Because there's no selfish about it.
17:10Come and look at my kids and then say it's selfish.
17:12Simple as that to that one.
17:14I can understand I'm putting my business out on social media
17:17so people have a right to respond and have their say.
17:21But don't judge a book by its cover and don't judge me before you've even met me.
17:25Whoever can jump the highest.
17:29Those people that judge us, what can we say to them?
17:32Try putting themselves in our shoes.
17:34Yeah, come and see before you judge.
17:37Come and watch them play.
17:39I'll try and discipline and teach my kids to be as mellow and as nice and kind as possible.
17:45I just want them to be happy and content and just stay grounded.
17:50What do we hope the future holds for the family?
17:54What do you think?
17:54Happiness and success.
17:55Success.
17:57And a long life.
17:57And stability.
17:58And a quiet life.
18:00Quiet with it.
18:06So if you had to describe the family in one word, what would it be?
18:08Mental.
18:11Loco.
18:11Mental or loud.
18:13That's two words.
18:14Mental or loud.
18:16Still two words.
18:17Loco.
18:21You want hold it?
18:22Come on, honey.
18:23Hold your hands up.
18:24I'm Payton.
18:25I'm Farrah, mom of five.
18:27Five under three.
18:30Can I have some?
18:30No.
18:32Please.
18:33First baby is PJ, Payton Jr.
18:36He's two years old.
18:37He's everything.
18:38That's our baby boy.
18:41He was in for a surprise with these four sisters arriving.
18:44The quadruplets are eight weeks.
18:46Eight weeks old.
18:48We have Lyric.
18:49Lyric was number one.
18:50And then Paisley.
18:52She was number two.
18:54She was number two.
18:54Thumb.
18:56She was third.
18:57Sis.
18:58Fallon.
18:59Fallon was last.
19:00Number four.
19:03This is the biggest thing that's ever happened to me.
19:05What was, um, looked like for the holidays?
19:09Easier, I would say.
19:11Still kind of hectic because PJ is two.
19:13Can you tell me how you met?
19:14So we met in college.
19:17Yeah.
19:17That was my junior year, 2016.
19:21Did you want a big family?
19:22I mean, I always would play I wanted a big family because I've come from a big family.
19:27I'm one of nine kids.
19:28And I'm like, babe, three tops.
19:30Three is it.
19:31Three is my limit.
19:32And then when I was pregnant with them, before I knew it was quadruplets,
19:36the way I was feeling, I said, Payton, I said, this is it.
19:38I said, I can't do this anymore.
19:40I said, this is going to be it.
19:41And sure enough.
19:46So you go in for an ultrasound.
19:48Tell me about that moment.
19:49I go in for the ultrasound.
19:51The ultrasound tech, I knew something was up by the look on her face.
19:54Yeah.
19:54She was like, very awkward.
19:57Then on the Doppler show, like two heartbeats here.
20:00I'm like, oh, twins.
20:01So I'm not really processing.
20:02I'm like, dang, twins.
20:04She was like, wait.
20:05She moved it over to four circles.
20:07I was like, whoa.
20:08It felt like somebody punched me in the stomach and then like stumped me out.
20:14I was like, oh.
20:16He was grabbing the wall.
20:17Like, is there some water somewhere?
20:19I'm like, oh my goodness.
20:21The ultrasound tech was like, what were you guys taking?
20:24Like, are you getting in vitro, IVF or what were you taking?
20:27I'm like, I take vitamin C.
20:29It was just like, I was torn.
20:31Because I'm like, what?
20:32Quadruplets.
20:33Then I'm like, wow, this is so amazing.
20:36So yeah, torn.
20:38That's how I felt torn.
20:40These are some cute little onesies we have for the girls.
20:42We've got so much stuff, guys.
20:44We're so grateful everybody was willing to buy four of everything.
20:47Tell us about the two identical twins.
20:49So these two are twins, Fallon and Lyric.
20:53It's like the two peas are twins and then the two Lyric and Fallon are twins.
21:02By the time you finish feeding one, now somebody else is hungry.
21:05Because there's only two of us and there's four of them.
21:07Well, really five.
21:08Because PJ is still a baby.
21:10He's still trying to fight for his own attention.
21:18But for the most part, he understands that it's not just him anymore.
21:22Trying to use his inside voice.
21:24That's his biggest dilemma, being gentle.
21:27Being gentle because he's a two-year-old boy.
21:35How did your friends and family respond when you told them?
21:40Everybody thought, they thought we were playing.
21:42Open the door.
21:48It's overwhelming for me to just walk in.
21:50When I walk in, I'm like, where do you start?
22:00How did you feel when you got the news that your daughter was pregnant with Oz?
22:06My initial reaction was, oh my god.
22:12And then I went into action.
22:13I'm like, what do we do?
22:15How do we plan for four babies?
22:18So my mom made us a GoFundMe like a few weeks after we found out because we were just like
22:23overwhelmed with the thought of having to provide for quadruplets plus our toddler.
22:28It just seemed like we need help.
22:31They said it takes a village.
22:33It really does.
22:33It's taking a community.
22:37We need bigger than the village.
22:38A small island nation.
22:42I try desperately on the weekends to come in and prepare at least two or three meals to carry them
22:47through, but because I'm such a good cook, they like to eat it all up in one or two days.
22:53You should be hungry.
22:55PJ!
22:56What reactions did you experience online to sharing that you were having quadruplets?
23:02The comments on the picture when we were announcing, so many people were like, what are quadruplets?
23:07You guys are having four, I don't know, somebody said, y'all having four kids at once?
23:12People say a lot, couldn't be me.
23:14I couldn't do it.
23:15And I'm like, that's why you didn't get it, you know?
23:18I didn't think I could do it, but I'm doing it.
23:21I'm trying my best.
23:22Sometimes I'll just stroll through the comments and I just see that's the two things that always
23:28pop up.
23:28I don't like their names.
23:29Their names are weird or they have to be taking something.
23:33So they have money and blah, blah, blah.
23:36I'm like, I take vitamin C.
23:39This is nothing that we did.
23:41Like I would tell people all the time, like even friends or like close family.
23:45And they're like, what were you guys doing?
23:47Like, how did y'all do this?
23:49I'm like, y'all, I would not purposely have four kids.
23:54The process of getting dressed and having to get in the car.
23:58Have you seen any of the online stuff?
24:01I did.
24:01I did.
24:02I saw the online and I laughed.
24:03The lady that commented about if you have enough money for IVF,
24:08IVF, why are you doing a GoFundMe?
24:11And it's like, okay, we didn't.
24:14It's natural.
24:15One in 700,000 people conceive naturally.
24:21I figured that this is a blessing, you know, one in 700,000 to have a natural,
24:28you know, spontaneous quadruplets.
24:31Yeah.
24:32So I feel like, yeah, we should share this with the world, you know.
24:35Yeah.
24:35It's like winning the lottery.
24:37We just let it roll off our shoulders.
24:39We don't even buy into it.
24:41It's not worth it, you know.
24:42Jay and the quads.
24:44How do you feel about these two sharing their life on social media?
24:48And you open yourself up to negative, you know, folks, but they both have a strong,
25:00strong spirituality.
25:02I'm not against it.
25:03It's a wonderful story.
25:04You know, it's amazing and I'm happy for them.
25:07Look at my baby girl growing to such an amazing mother.
25:11So I am so, so very proud of her.
25:14If I had to describe this family in one word, I would describe them as amazing.
25:25Where do you hope you'll be in the future?
25:27I see us in a bigger house, running around like crazy people.
25:32Happy chaos.
25:35I hope for the future that my family can achieve peace, happiness.
25:40No, I do not want any more kids.
25:42I love them.
25:44I do not want any more kids.
25:52I am getting all of their bottles ready for the day.
25:56Our children are Jacob, who's nine, Matthew, who's three.
26:01And then there is Allison, Adam, Madison, Emma, and Chloe.
26:08And they are all one.
26:10We have a lot of infertility problems.
26:13I have PCOS.
26:14We took Clomid and got pregnant with Jacob.
26:18A couple of years after we had Jacob, we decided to try again.
26:22And ended up doing IUI and follow stem injections.
26:25We had a lot of complications with Matthew and just his health.
26:30My husband really wanted a little girl.
26:32I was scared to try again after Matthew and the complications that we had with him.
26:37But you know, he had talked me into it and said,
26:40we can handle anything.
26:42And I thought, you know, he's right.
26:44So we went back to doing follow stem injections and IUI.
26:47They had said, you're over responding to the medication.
26:50There's too many follicles growing.
26:53Don't take your trigger shot and we're not going to do IUI.
26:57In a couple of weeks, just take a test and we'll try again for a new cycle.
27:01I took a test and sure enough, it was positive.
27:04When we first went in, the ultrasound tech was really quiet and she said,
27:09so I'm just going to prepare you.
27:12She said, you know, there's, there's more than one.
27:15There's, and she just looked at me and did that.
27:18I know I went speechless and was completely shocked.
27:22There's so many risks with high order multiples.
27:26I just kept going into every appointment, hoping that, you know, nothing would be wrong.
27:31They were striving to get me to 24 weeks.
27:3532.
27:36Nobody expected us to go that far.
27:39I didn't expect us to go that far.
27:42I was so shocked by the delivery.
27:44We had a plan in place and our team was really wonderful.
27:48All the quints were born in four minutes.
27:51I could not believe how fast they were born.
27:55I was, I was truly surprised.
27:57It was like I blinked and they were all born and they were healthy and they were headed in a queue.
28:04I'd say, now it's time for nap.
28:10For the first year, it was pretty rough because you really couldn't go anywhere.
28:14They were eating every three hours.
28:17By the time we would finish with the last one,
28:19it would be only 30 minutes before we had to restart and, and feed all five again.
28:24There was never time to sleep and we were both exhausted.
28:28Now that they can hold their own bottles, it's amazing and a huge relief for us.
28:40It can be really time consuming trying to get them to eat.
28:43They eat between 10 and 15 containers of baby food between all of them.
28:48We always do bottles and then diapers and then they usually play for two hours
28:58and then they all get sat down in their high chairs and have lunch.
29:02After lunch, we get them all cleaned up and another diaper change
29:06and then they get laid down for a nap.
29:08Then we do it all over.
29:10I love you mommy.
29:11I love you too baby.
29:12Are you helping mom?
29:13I think she needs an egg.
29:14Oh yeah.
29:15Jacob, are you a part of the team now too with helping mom?
29:20I actually help out a bunch.
29:22You've learned a lot of stuff and you are.
29:27You're a good big brother.
29:28Jacob has been absolutely thrilled.
29:31He loves all of them and he's such an amazing big brother.
29:34He wants to do everything with them.
29:37Can you stand up?
29:38Good job.
29:39Jacob, take all the diapers.
29:41Oh, that's nasty.
29:43Nasty.
29:44Have you received any criticism?
29:47There's been a lot of articles written about the clinch and we were really shocked
29:54because our stories traveled everywhere.
29:56Everybody from everywhere is commenting.
29:59You have a few that say, wow, you know, having that many is irresponsible.
30:04A lot of people think that we did IDF and we chose to have a whole bunch, which I don't
30:12know who chooses to have that many.
30:14So that's kind of crazy to me.
30:16You have a couple that, you know, assume because you have a high number of children that you're
30:24just a welfare case.
30:25So you have those few negative people, but, you know, I would definitely say that they're
30:32they're few and far between.
30:34For the most part, everybody's been really supportive and and just super excited about the quints.
30:40Is that what you're talking about more then?
30:42He jokes about an eighth one and I tell him he's crazy and it's not happening, so.
30:46Gotta make the numbers even, right?
30:48All right.
30:49Girls are ahead.
30:50When we talked about a third, I actually was not wanting to have a third.
30:59Don't blame me.
31:00It's all on you.
31:01Given all the possible medical complications and everything that we were facing with Pentuplets
31:07and with Matthew, we're truly blessed that we have all seven children here and healthy and thriving.
31:14Every day is exciting and they make it completely worth it.
31:18We're hoping to be closer to both of our families.
31:20Both of our families live in Missouri.
31:22And we're hoping that, you know, to be closer, not only do we have some more support,
31:27but we also give our kids and our family the chance to see them grow.
31:33I myself am most excited to see their relationship with each other and how that changes and grows.
31:41Hopefully, it stayed just as sweet as it is now.
31:57Better now, isn't it?
31:58Thanks.
31:59At the top of the spirit, we'll talk about this first breath.
