The search and rescue operation for a teenage boy feared drowned in Taman Prima Saujana, Kajang, has entered its third day on Saturday (Dec 6), with authorities expanding the search area to 10 kilometres.

00:15Kajang District Police Chief ACP Nasron Abdul Yusuf said the operation now covers two search
00:21zones, starting from the incident site and extending from Jalan Mendeling to Jalan Reco.
00:27The 14-year-old has not been found since being swept away by a strong current on Thursday.
00:33A total of 65 officers and personnel from the Royal Malaysia Police, the Fire and Rescue Department,
00:40the Civil Defence Force and Rescue Benchana Malaysia are involved in the operation.
00:45Teams are being assisted by two canine detection dogs, the JBPM scuba team, the APM drone unit
00:53and two Wally boats patrolling along Sungai Langat towards Denkil.
00:57The incident on Thursday involved two brothers, aged 12 and 14, who were swept away while attempting
01:03to retrieve a ball in a large drain at Lorong 1-3A, Taman Prima Saujana.
01:10The 12-year-old brother was later found at 7.47pm in Sungai Merbau, Kampung Sungai Kantan,
01:17about two kilometres from the scene.
