00:05not just in Essex, and they are struggling. This is the first Saturday of December, a
00:10big Christmas shopping weekend. And actually what the shops are telling me is that it's
00:14been really tough. Fewer people coming in. Those who do come in are spending less. So
00:19I just want to send a message to all of the people in the country. Please support your
00:23high street. We know online shopping is great, but actually a lot of people out there are
00:27counting on you. If you want to keep those small independent shops, cafes,
00:32restaurants, get out there this weekend and please support them.
