00:03Knicks' Bridges has been total package. Look, I know this is going to be an

00:07unpopular opinion all throughout New York,

00:10and I know Giannis is an NBA champion and a two-time MVP,

00:14but, hear me out, the fact that McHale Bridges is having a breakout season in

00:18year two with the Knicks, the fact that he signed a four-year $150

00:22million extension in the offseason, and the fact that this franchise doesn't

00:26have any real draft capital at the moment means that you cannot add this

00:30man to the Giannis trade if you're going to trade for the Greek freak.

00:35Mike Brown is getting the ROI or return on investment on the Bridges trade that we

00:41hoped and thought that Tibbs was going to get last season,

00:44and Alex Jotaros of KnicksFanTV told me that he saw this coming during NBA Summer League.

00:51When I was in Summer League this past summer, all I saw was McHale Bridges

00:56sitting next to Mike Brown, and it gave me that idea that, you know,

00:59Bridges was trying to figure out how he was going to fit in there

01:03into the system, and then how Brown wanted to utilize him, so I believe that

01:07they were just trying to get comfortable, trying to understand each other,

01:09and even when you see the clips of Mike Brown of just, like, encouraging McHale,

01:15you just see that McHale is getting that support that it seems like he wasn't getting last year,

01:20just from, like, an emotional standpoint.

01:23You gave up five first-round picks for the man, and now you've brought in a coach whose X's and O's

01:30bring out the best in the Jimmy and the Joe and the player.

01:34That type of communication between coach and player only means one thing, or should mean one thing.

01:39You're a core piece, not a trade asset.
