The remains of Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin were brought to the Kota Kinabalu City Mosque in Sabah for final prayers around 10am on Friday (Dec 5). 00:00Leaders, family members and friends paid their last respects to the late Kinabatangan MP Datuk Seri Bung Mokhtar Radin on Friday.

00:09Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Ji Noor visited Bung Mokhtar's residence in Luyang in the morning,

00:15before Bung Mokhtar's remains were brought to the Kota Kinabalu City Mosque.

00:19Haji Ji said Bung Mokhtar contributed significantly to Sabah, particularly to the communities he represented.

00:26Bung Mokhtar's body reached the mosque for final prayers around 10am.

00:31The hearse was accompanied by family members, while many mourners, including Sabahs,

00:36young Dipertuan Negeri Tun Musa Aman and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi

00:42gathered to pay tribute to him, creating an emotional scene at the mosque.

01:32Bung Mokhtar, who was Sabah Barisan National Chairman and recently re-elected Lamag Assemblyman,

01:39passed away at 1.46 a.m. at the age of 66.

01:44He had continued campaigning despite battling kidney and lung infections,

01:49retaining his seat for a second consecutive term in the November 29 state election.

01:54Bung Mokhtar's remains will be laid to rest at the Kampung Likas Muslim Cemetery after the prayers.
